The best thing ever! I don’t understand the bad reviews on here. My husband built this in one evening and the wood is really sturdy. We live in Oklahoma and he said the wind won’t blow it away. We put a cat door in the window and the cats went in there right away. It is so roomy and we put a couple of hammocks in there. We needed extra “cat space “ and that is just what it gives. We actually had some flooring left and put it on the bottom. It’s a great investment.

Takes some patience to put together, but after a few panels are done, it all makes sense. Might seem flimsy at first, but once it’s assembled, it’s sturdy and stable. I wish the latches that keep the access doors locked were beefier and more secure when locked. We use a zip tie at each latch mechanism to be sure they can’t be accidentally opened. Not a huge problem as we hardly ever open those panels and the cats go in and out through the open window. We attached ours to the house with a couple of simple brackets and it’s been great. One thing that was weird is that it comes in two large boxes and they came separately, so we thought we’d been shorted when it first arrived. The other box arrived the following day and the rest is history.

Love this! My nova has been spending the whole day out in this watching me in the yard or her birds. Easy to put together and sturdy.

Do not recommend – flimsy, damaged, and NOT worth the price This came in two massive boxes delivered on two different days, and from the moment I opened them, I knew I was in for trouble. There were NO instructions at first (found them buried in the packaging sandwiched between pieces after unpacking both boxes full of countless parts), the wood was visibly chipped and cracked on arrival, and nearly every piece is flimsy, splinter-prone, and poorly constructed. It took me over 5 hours to assemble, and I'm no stranger to putting things together. The moment I added the shelf braces, the wood split. Multiple screws caused splitting too, even with careful handling. There is no way I would trust this to safely house a cat outdoors-it’s way too unstable. Mine is going indoors, thankfully, but I’m still nervous about letting my cat use the shelves at all. The design is not solid enough to support basic climbing without risk of collapse. To be honest I may remove the platforms it came with and insert a couple of cat trees instead. I almost never leave reviews, but this thing left me sore, frustrated, and extremely disappointed. Only giving 2 stars because it does look like the picture, the doors open and function as intended, it did have all of the pieces, it's a really good size, and I'm hoping after I apply some bracing of my own that I might not have to throw the whole thing away. There's absolutely no way I could repack this to send it back for a refund as that would require another 5 hours of playing Tetris with the pieces. Save your money. This is not worth it.

Excellent size and so easy to put together! It had a smell when I opened it so I just let it air out for a day and it went away (like a pressure treated lumber smell). My cats love all the places to jump! I love how the door opening is full sized and I don’t have to bed down to get inside to clean it out!

Does not come with a back! The pictures appear to but i dont have a brick wall to put it against so we had to go buy a back from home depot. Takes way longer than 90 minutes to put together. Other than that, it does the trick.

Our cats love it. They spend.hours outside enjoying the sun and breeze. They can be safe and it is roomy. They especially love the scratching posts.

Im fairly unhappy with this purchase. I got the big one so my cat would have plenty of space and I could dress it up. It needs to cover the window on my patio to work and it's about 18" too short and they don't have any extension or way to raise it up. So first off, I have to modify it to make it taller. I knew that to be the case already but the 2 stars is because the actual material or wood that makes this up is very flimsy and cheap. It wasn't that easy to put together and the instructions were not clear enough that I first put it together inside out, and then the shelves don't line up with the screws that are supposed to hold in the scratch post and the little house. A good wind will probably knock this whole thing down so the modifications I need to do to make it sturdy and look not so ghetto, will probably cost more than the I paid for this catio. It would of been cheaper to get a contractor to just build me a nice one. The wood will probably rot and break fairly quickly. I just put this together yesterday and it's not done due to the modifications but once those are done, I will post a video. I would say, if you want a nice catio, get a contractor to just build it. The pieces are not that complicated and it would come out so much nicer. This one is very cheap looking.
