should I refrigerated after opening ?

I refrigerate mine just as a personal preference because I live in a very warm & humid climate. Even the best air conditioning system can't keep up with the heat here on so many days per year. I just prefer to not smell it like I do if I leave it out. The pump is so convenient but I think maybe a lid that would fit over the pump in its open position that would seal in the smell would definitely be a nice additionto the packaging. But I can't smell it at all in my refrigerator & it's working wonders for my APBT & my 2 OEB's so YAY!!

Is the pump broken? I keep turning the pump in the direction the arrow states but it never "releases" to allow me to pump it open. Secret trick?
