I love these beet chips!
I love these beet chips!!! They are SO good. Better than any potato chip, sorry potatoes. They have the sweetness of the beets and a little salt. I don’t like too much salt. They are perfect! The bag doesn’t seem to be that big but there are a lot of chips in there. They just keep poring and poring out. The bag keeps them from crushing. I just can’t say enough about them. I think some people won’t try them because it’s unusual to make chips out of beets. I say try them! They’re great! Take a bag to a party and it will fill the bowl several times and you’ll see people standing near the bowl.

Crispy, tasty and a great alternative to typical store bought tater chips!
Quick delivery, nicely packaged and delicious super crispy beet chips! It sure beats (beets?) your run of the mill potato or corn chips with many more healthy benefits too. We dispensed the chips into a gallon Zip Lock bag and added just a shake or two of popcorn salt to make them even more of a treat. No complaints about chip size or freshness as these were "top shelf"! Definitely will order again for this tasty treat.

Healthy potato chip alternative!
Sometimes, you just crave a salty, crunchy snack. These beet chips are a healthy alternative to regular potato chips. They are a little on the pricey side, but you get a package absolutely stuffed full of chips, so I feel it was worth the money. The flavor is delicious, but of course you have to like beets. Great with a little plain yogurt or sour cream for dip! I also noticed that, unlike potato chips, these are more self-limiting: you feel full/satisfied with a small bowl. Plus you are getting all kinds of vitamins! The only downside: there were a lot of small/broken chips...but I plan on pulverizing into a powder and mixing in with yogurt! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed
Good flavor and right crunch. Container it came in was nice but not the easiest to open.

Good buy
Chips were nice and a little thicker than the normal thin ones you get

Disappointing
You'll need 3 gallon-size ziplocks to keep them all fresh after opening. Surprised there was minimal breakage; decent sized crisp chips. I didn't find them oily as other reviewers did. My disappointment is with the lack of flavor. Beet chips are my favorite chip, but it's gotten harder to find good ones anymore. They SHOULD have a sweet & salty flavor that's completely missing from these. They taste like nothing at all. I'm gonna have to figure out some sort of balsamic dip to eat them with, since it's too much money to just throw away. Looks like it's back to making them myself.

Tasty
It has a great taste but it is messy to snack.

If you're looking for great beet chips...Keep looking!
I've been looking for beet chips since Trader Joe's stopped offering them recently. These, offered on Amazon, seemed to be a possible replacement; so I ordered a 2.2 lb. package, even though the size and price were more than I wanted or wanted to pay. Compared to the smaller packages by other makers, the price per ounce was a better deal...But that is only if I wanted to EAT them all. First: They are made in VietNam. Don't we grow beets on this continent? Sure we do. The chips have an oily flavor that the label claims is non-hydrogenated canola oil. The Crisco Canola Oil I use in my cooking imparts far less oily taste than the flavor permeating these chips. Oh well. Live and learn. I'll toss these and won't buy again (cancelling my Subscribe & Save orders for same).
