This pen delivers Apple Pencil performance straight out of the box — but at a fraction of the cost.
Works straight out of the box with no pairing needed, making it easy to use across multiple iPads. Smooth, lag-free performance, USB-C quick charging, strong magnetic grip, and three spare nibs included. A reliable Apple Pencil alternative backed by a 24-month warranty. Apple Pencil Alternative at a Fraction of the Price — Works Instantly, Lag-Free, USB-C The ESR pen arrives well packaged, and inside there’s a thoughtful touch — a card with a QR code. Scanning it takes you directly to a setup video and the registration page, where you can extend the warranty to 24 months. It’s quick, clear, and a nice confidence boost before you even start using it. 📸 Everything included out of the box — ESR pen, three spare nibs, and USB-C cable. 📸 Quick setup via QR code — register for the 24-month warranty and watch the setup video. There’s no need to pair the pen with an iPad — it works straight away. That means you can switch easily between multiple iPads without any setup, which makes it much more flexible if you use more than one device. It also makes it family-friendly, since anyone in the house can pick it up and use it on their iPad without fuss. In the hand, the pen feels sturdy yet comfortable, with a balanced weight that makes writing feel natural. The nib glides smoothly across the screen with no noticeable lag, and palm rejection works reliably so you can rest your hand naturally without stray marks. The pen works well with Apple’s built-in apps such as Notes and Pages. While Scribble isn’t officially supported, it does actually work in some areas — for example, handwriting straight into the Safari search box. That makes it surprisingly handy for quick searches or text entry without switching to the keyboard. 🎥 Strong magnetic attachment — the pen snaps securely to the iPad and stays put. Battery life is quoted at around 13 hours, but I can’t fully confirm this as I tend to charge my iPad first and then the pen straight after since they both use USB-C. What I can say is that I’ve never run it flat in use, and even a quick top-up provides plenty of writing time. The auto-sleep function also helps conserve power when the pen isn’t in use. A welcome extra is the inclusion of three spare nibs in the box, meaning you’re covered for long-term use without needing to buy replacements straight away. The pen also attaches firmly to the iPad with its strong magnetic grip, so it feels secure and is always within easy reach when not in use. Pros: • Clear setup via QR code and video • 24-month warranty with registration • Works instantly, no pairing needed — easy to use across multiple iPads • Family-friendly: anyone can pick it up and use it • Smooth, lag-free performance • Works seamlessly with Apple apps like Notes and Pages • Scribble not officially supported, but works in Safari search box • Comfortable weight and natural feel • Reliable palm rejection • Quoted 13-hour battery life, quick charging via USB-C, and auto-sleep • Strong magnetic attachment to iPad • Three spare nibs included Cons: • None so far Overall: A well-designed, dependable pen that works straight out of the box with no pairing needed, and can be used easily across multiple iPads. Its family-friendly design makes it ideal for shared devices, while the strong magnet, spare nibs, and extended warranty all add long-term value. A genuine alternative to the Apple Pencil at a fraction of the price. ⸻ Media 1. Photo — Everything included out of the box (pen, three spare nibs, USB-C cable) 2. Nice
Really great alternative to the Apple pencil. It works well on an iPad a16, feels durable, and connects well to an iPad. Doesn't require a Bluetooth connection and charges pretty fast and lasts quite a while

Solid Purchase
It’s good. It doesn’t have those cool tap features like the newer ESR pencils but it’s absolutely solid. Comes with 3 extra nibs that I haven’t needed to use yet. It doesn’t feel cheap either, it seems like it’s made of good material. Feels quite good to hold too

Don’t think Apple Pencil— Think high-quality stylus
I have used several different Apple Pencils in the past, but got tired of paying the high price. Even the Logitech crayon is pretty expensive, but this one is very reasonable. It works great for me, and it might work well for you as well: Pros: - Connectivity: it actually doesn’t exactly “connect” to your iPad; turning it on just sends electricity to the tip of the pencil so the touchscreen registers the pencil. It doesn’t need a connection because it’s literally just a bare-bones stylus, nothing more, nothing less. - Responsiveness: it’s hard to tell a difference between this and the Apple Pencils. It’s snappy, accurate, and has the same sensitivity as using a regular pen on paper. Super easy to use. - Build quality: the weight, durability, and overall feel of the ESR feel a lot like a regular Apple Pencil. Maybe a tiny bit lighter. Cons: - Lack of features: Some of the latest Apple Pencils include tilt recognition (mainly for artwork), pressure sensitivity, rotation detection, and a double-tap feature to switch between tools. These make the Apple Pencils uniquely “smart”. The ESR shares more DNA with a plain stylus than it does with a “smart” stylus. The question becomes, are all these extra features really worth it? - Palm recognition: for whatever reason, I feel like the iPad’s palm recognition isn’t as good when using the ESR. I’d predict that the Apple Pencil, since it connects via Bluetooth to the iPad, is sort’ve able to “alert” the iPad when the pencil is in use, whereas the ESR has no real connection to the iPad. - Visual appeal: Okay, now I’m just nitpicking. The three-LED battery indicator, the logo printed onto the side of the pencil, and the USB-C port all in a row on the side of the Pencil give it a bit of a generic feel. Brands like Anker and Logitech have really done a good job and making their branding feel name-brand and aesthetically pleasing, but ESR has a little more work to do here. Overall: This is a high quality stylus that would please 80-90% of people who think they need an Apple Pencil. It lacks some of the Apple Pencil’s “smart” features, but when I had my Apple Pencil (only used it to take school notes), the only feature I found useful was the double-tap function to switch between tools. I even messed around with some of the drawing apps to see how the ESR compares with the Apple Pencil, and honestly, the ESR seemed to do just fine. It’s simply a high-quality stylus that looks like an Apple Pencil, and it’ll suit your needs unless you’re specifically getting it to do frequent, serious artwork.
