works but not as you might expect
this thing is great and it sucks at the same time. It is not an easy use item as described. Hard to line up the lens perfectly. It takes practice to get it right. My desire for a click click and shoot was not realized and I wasted need time trying to use it in a pinch. If I had time to set it up, it worked like a charm.

Needs better assembly instuctions
I think the lens worked fine in daylight... I had trouble using it for the solar eclipse because I didn't have anything flat to put the tripod on. I traveled for the solar eclipse and I didn't bring it home with me!
