Excellent for those loose days! Recommended by my DVM - Internal Medicine Specialist - only need a day or two to get back to normal - appears he likes the taste - I add a bit of water to make a paste and add to basic dinner - smells good which I think they like. Nice to have on hand just in base.

My dog is sensitive to everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. We had taken her to the vet and she was on a special prescription diet for her diarrhea. It worked for a little bit and then came back. Canned pumpkin wasn’t really helping, or a bland diet. I saw this powder and read the positive reviews and figured I had nothing to lose, if it didn’t work, we’d go back to the vet. This stuff works WONDERS! So easy to use. No can opener required. No weird smells. My dog eats it no problem. And her stool solidified within 24 hours. I use this as a daily supplement now and she hasn’t had any diarrhea ever since even if there is a random one off in her diet. I would say I got the smaller size to see how it works, and I’d recommend you do the same as every dog is different. But if it works, get the big bag. It’s worth it. I never have to worry about my dog and the runs again.

Glad I purchased the Firm Up. It is definitely better to get the large bag from a price perspective. I wish they made the cranberry and pumpkin in this size. My puppy came home on Diamond Naturals Puppy food, we have since switched him to Taste of the Wild and there were no issues, we didn't even gradually do it, we did it cold turkey with a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin along with a 1/2 teaspoon of Honest Kitchen base mix. He is only 10 weeks old and he had no stomach issues and his puppy poop has been firm and easy to pick up. I will always keep a bag of this on hand and honestly we don't use the full serving so it will last us quite a bit. We mixed it in with his food and he is a happy puppy. Orange poop but happy... UPDATE 5/11/17 Our puppy is now 9 months old and has been getting a teaspoon of pumpkin at each meal since he was 8 weeks old (he is a mini schnauzer 14 Pounds). He has never had any loose stools or anal gland issues. His poop is still orange and easy to pick up. This really does work. We have even varied his food cold turkey with no issues. It is well worth the price. We are still using the same bag we purchased back in October and it will likely last us through this year in October.
