Vetroo Black 850W Power Supply, Dual PCIe 5.1 ATX 3.1 Ready

Never having seen this before and seeing the price ($80 for 850 Watt Power Supply, 80 Plus Gold) I was a little sketched out but decided to give it a shot, and honestly was very pleasantly surprised! Had purchased the Microcenter branded PSU a year back and found their cables to be meh quality and connectors to be absolutely absurdly hard to work with, and that was my first modular PSU, so it really made me want to smash my face into a brick wall for not spending a little more money to get a better brand. This, cracked open the box, no missing parts, very normal looking, had some velcro pads it came with as well as some screws. The cables have a little velcro bag you can throw them in when you're not using them which is great, should store in the original box just fine, and the cables feel GREAT! Pleasure to install on the PSU and on the board, very flexible and soft cable, I didn't realize how much of a difference that would make to work with them. The cable length is good, no issues, the CPU power cable, DUDE. I have ALWAYS STRUGGLED with that stuff and this was SO easy to pop on. Saw it had an eco mode, switched it on, I can't even hear the thing until I start playing games, the PC is SO quiet now, even with a massive three fan 3080. Love it! I'll update if it fails prematurely (LOOKING AT YOU EVGA) but so far, very happy. Easy to cable manage, good power for a good price. Don't be afraid, pick this up!

Right out of the box, the vertoo feels like a premium piece of hardware. I built the system on 9/15/2025. Haven't used it for a full 30 days yet. And the power shut completely off on 10/1/2025. So the PSU must've failed. In the middle of using the system it shuts off. I would not recommend this product. I have owned computers since the mid 1990s and I have NEVER had a failure to the computer due to the PSU until now. I did my research, Vetroo, a new company, was highly rated, even against some well known companies. But again I have never had a PSU failure. Also, this unit doesn't have a light on it that lets you know power is going to the unit or not. My MoBo has lights on it even when the system is shut off. UPDATE: Vetroo responded immediately. They sent me a video asked me to record testing the PSU with the 24 pin bridge tool. The result was a PSU that had failed and no longer worked. Vetroo wanted me to send the unit back before they replaced it. I opted not to do that and thankfully Amazon processed a refund and I went to an onground store to purchase a Seasonic Focus PSU. It cost more, but has gold plated MoBo, CPU and PCIe connectors. The way the Vetroo is packaged is top of the line. Unfortunately that fact that it failed I cannot recommend.

Bought this for my new build and it’s been solid so far. Runs super quiet — the fan barely kicks in unless I’m gaming. Love that it came with flexible cables and some Velcro straps, makes cable management way easier. Also comes with a little bag for the extra cables, which is nice. Tested it with the jumper before installing and it powered right up. For the price, getting ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support is honestly pretty sweet. Overall, no complaints. Looks good, runs quiet, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Would buy again.

I decided to try this power supply after noticing some sudden negative reviews. Since it’s well-rated on PSU tier lists, I wanted to test it myself. My build: Intel Ultra 7-265K, ASUS Z890 Plus, and MSI 3060 Ti. Under load, the PSU ran stable and quiet, with no issues like sparks, shutdowns, or malfunctions. Installation was straightforward, and overall performance has been reliable. Based on my experience, the product works as advertised. The recent wave of negative reviews doesn’t match what I’ve seen firsthand.

If you guys bought this because it was an A tier power supply, guess what, it's actually B- and was updated in 2024. This is the 2024 version that has issues with the 12 volt power supply that nvidia likes and catches on fire. Other than that it's a modular PSU that has 2 SATAs and 2 Molexes, more PCIEs than you need, and 3 8-pin GPUs, and the 24 pin. Literally everything you need, and it works pretty well so far.

Just junk, do not waste your money, failed within 4 months of use, thankfully it didn’t fry my components since they were expensive. Went through the replacement process and they asked me to pay for customs duties!!! They didn’t even bother to prepay for them. Finished by buying a corsair PSU and took the loss
