BUY THESE, BLOOMS FAST, PROTECTS GARDENS
I will try to update with pictures! I planted along two trellises. They are growing, taking about a month to latch on to the trellis, but they are blooming red, orange, yellow like crazy! I read that they are great for keeping pests out of vegetable gardens, so I threw a few seeds in and they are germinating (within in a week or two). I learned how to pronounce it: Nas tur shium. I gave some to the neoghbors and noticed their blooms driving by yesterday. Very happy. Great purchase.

I get loads of compliments
I am in zone 6b and planted these the first week of May by pushing the seeds into the ground. The majority of the seeds grew and bloomed without any effort. We had a wet May and June and a super dry July and August. They needed some water by the beginning of August and they perked right up. I ordered the 1 pound bag and that was way more than I needed. The 1 pound bag holds so many seeds I was giving them away in little baggies and I will still have enough for next year. Next year I will plant them with alyssum and a purple salvia behind.

Beautiful edible flowers!
These flowers are ridiculously easy to grow! I started them off by sanding a tiny bit of each seed with sandpaper and soaked them in warm water overnight. If you don't, it takes forever for the seed to get through the tough exterior of the seed shell so it doesn't germinate as quickly. Next I planted them in containers 1/2 inches deep and 10 inches apart using dirt from my yard. They do best when the soil is low in nutrients. If you plant them in good soil or try to fertilize them, they will grow tons of leaves and you won't get as many flowers if you get flowers at all. All they need aside from poor quality soil is a moderate amount of water and lots of sunlight and they will do really well. These seeds have a high germination rate so unless you are seeding a large field, you shouldn't try to use the whole bag in a single year. They are tough plants but they don't like to be too overcrowded. Did I mention that they are edible?! It sounds weird but they are 100% safe to eat and have a light peppery flavor. They go well in fresh salads or wrapped around various cream cheese filling combinations. The leaves are edible too but I prefer the flavor and appearance of the flowers.

Really low germination rate
Not sure if I got a bum batch or what but, after several attempts, I'm getting a ridiculously low germination rate. Total bust last year and only 4 starts out of 100 seeds this year. I'm not new to gardening and, in the past, have found nasturtiums, pretty easy to start. Disappointed in this purchase as now I have to go find seed elsewhere and will have my starts coming in much later than hoped

Very good quality and fruitful seeds!!
You get a lot of seeds with these product and I would say that 90% of them sprouted in my case. I have been buying seeds online for my garden this year for different plants and from different providers and these are by far the easier and most productive. I planted several in a small area expecting that not all of them would sprout, but most of them (if not all) did so now I have a very crowded pot! Take a look at the picture. The second time I tried in a different area the results were the same. And I still have a lot left in the bag. No possible failure with these seeds. The experience was so good that I have to share it with you :)
