Closys Healthy Gums Mouthwash, Antiplaque and Anti-gingivitis for Gum Health, Non-Burning, Non-Irritating – 32 Fl Oz

I absolutely love this CloSYS Healthy Gums mouthwash. I have sensitive gums and most mouthwashes burn or irritate my mouth, but this one is completely gentle — no stinging at all. It feels soothing every time I use it, and after just a few days I could tell my gums looked healthier and less inflamed. The formula is great for reducing plaque and helping prevent gingivitis, and it leaves my mouth feeling clean and fresh without that harsh, overpowering taste. It’s also perfect if you’re sensitive to strong mint or alcohol-based mouthwashes. My dentist recommended something mild but effective, and this works perfectly. The 32 oz bottle lasts a long time, and I love that it supports gum health without causing any discomfort. It’s become a staple in my daily routine. If you have sensitive gums or just want a mouthwash that actually helps without burning, this one is amazing. Highly recommend!

This mouthwash is by far the best mouthwash I’ve ever used. It’s not harsh at all and leaves my mouth feeling recessed and clean. It honestly feels like I’m rinsing my mouth with water, but it’s actually cleaning and freshening my mouth.

I remember purchasing this at my dentist office in 2009 for $20. At that time, Closys had a terrible, unflavored taste and an even more bizarre aftertaste. Thankfully, that time has since passed. I took it upon myself to try this mouth rinse again. In late February 2025 I apparently must have sliced my gum between my two upper molars that was irritated by eating meat. Naturally, meat is coarse and fibrous, which can irritate. The dental floss I used, oddly, which is naturally designed not to irritate gums, but did - was (Oral B) Glide, which I researched that contains PFAs. I immediately stopped using that floss and bought a different Oral B floss and two bottles of Closys. To me, this mouth rinse and oral protector is the best on the market! There is no comparison to any other rinse. Not only a cleaner and more thoroughly-designed mouth rinse but it can heal and protect within only three-days. You pay a little more but it's definitely worth the weight in gold.

Not bad, does not burn and is not excessively sweet. Definitely has that 'medicine' flavor but it's pretty mild. Slightly yellowish color probably due to the sodium benzoate, which is a bit odd considering that there shouldn't be enough to do that. Contains sucralose as a sweetener. I wish mouthwash companies would stop putting ANY sweetener in mouthwash. Why do they think everything has to be sweet? It's not food, it's MOUTHWASH. At least it does not have saccharine. I'll keep using it, but still searching for something without sweetener.

Works well. Teeth and gums feel healthy. Mild flavor and no burning.
