Maybe/Maybe Not
I do a lot of sitting, like for hours at a time. I can see where the support for your back, like others have shared, is there. I read on it that it's supposed to keep cool (the purpose of the gel portion) and it doesn't. I really wish it was more cushiony. If it was I would have given the 5th star. It is so much better than what I had before, a worn flat pillow. would I buy it again?? Not sure. I have had it for about a week. I have about 60 hours in it. Sometimes 5 hours at a time. My backside gets kind of sore. As for the critics, I know you should get up and move after an hour or so but sometimes I am busy and don't get there. After looking at a lot of reviews on chair cushions I would probably wind up buying this one again. This is the only cushion I have tried. I hope this helps someone. I also am dealing with neuropathy so it is painful to get up too much. Pay attention to the directions on how you sit on it. I saw one reviewer that had a video was actually putting the open area in the front and that is wrong...because that hump would put a lot of stress on your spine. That's the reason for the cut out, that's so there is nothing putting pressure on your spine. I will leave you with this...try it and see for yourself, it may just work for you.

I love it
This thing is a game changer. My job has me sitting all day which is awful for my sciatica and other (minor) back issues. For the first time, I have not had any pain while sitting. It took a day or so to get used to, but for me that was a good sign. Highly recommend.

Not wide enough
Nice Cushion BUT... not even close to be wide enough, have to sit just right for it to be comfortable, needs to be at least 10" wider. Even being a skinny butt person not close enough to a good fit. Cushion is close but comes up short.
