These beach/pool towels are amazing. The size is perfect which is actually bigger than most beach towels. I love so many things about these towels. They are bright and colorful and after a full year of use at the beaches and our pool, the colors do not fade. They wash and dry very nicely on standard cycles for towels. The best part is how light weight and compact they are when folded or rolled. A typical, fluffy beach towel takes up so much space in your beach bag...These are small, and easy to carry. Best part, they actually dry your body and bonus, they dry extremely quick in the sun. Standard beach towels stay wet all day, these dry so quickly that you will get several drying cycles in one long beach day because they will dry while you swim!!! These towels are the bomb! We've purchased two sets of 6.

We rented a house on a beach that included beach towels but decided to try these to stop stand from sticking to them and getting all over us and the floors. They worked GREAT, just a quick brush off or shake and the sand fell right off, then we could just wrap them around us or toss them over our shoulder and head home. They soaked up moisture and then dried off quickly without all the usual bulk of terry towels! They are lightweight to pack and carry and laundered perfectly with no shrinkage or twisting. Also, I loved the different colors so that we could each find our own towels! These are SO worth it!

The colors are beautiful, and the fabric is soft, lightweight, and the perfect size to pack in a beach bag without taking up considerable space. I haven't used them yet, but I'd expect they will dry quickly. Due to their smooth texture, I expect sand will brush off easily. When I received the set of 6 towels, they were packaged in a plastic shipping bag wrapped so tightly that I snipped the top off 2 tassels on one of the towels. I contacted the seller and provided photos of how the towels were packaged and the damage to one of the towels. Within a few days I received a replacement for the damaged towel. Excellent customer service!

I have been curious about these towels for a long time and was excited to use them for my family on our recent week long beach vacation. Here are my pros and cons. Cons: ~They are not going to warm you and your kids up when you get out of the water cold. If it's windy or not super hot each day you are using it and you get out of the water and want to warm up because the water was cold, or you're wet and it's windy, these towels don't help much. ~ I expected them to be ultra absorbent from the ads and did not find this to be the case. Think of a tea towel, it's kind of like drying dishes with a flat dish cloth like a tea towel. Even after you wipe thoroughly you're still a little wet. Pros ~ They really are not bulky, I could fit all six towels in my beach bag easily with lots of room for other stuff, it was nice to cut down on the bulk ~ They do dry quickly ~ easy to tie around you waist as an adult or around kids shoulders like a cape. ~ They are definitely stylish. The colors are vibrant and it was nice to use it around my waist like a cover up. I'm a plus sized person and didn't expect that to work for me but was pleasantly surprised it did. Overall, we will continue to use them probably and maybe I'll like them more over time, but it was a bummer when my kids got out of the cold ocean water on a windy day with teeth chattering and they couldn't warm up with these towels. I had a terry swim cover up for my toddler but wished I had them for my other kids. Kind of an important feature for us, and it ruined one of our beach days because my kids wanted to leave the beach when they couldn't warm up with a towel that was actually warm.

Love these towels for the beach and pool! A few things I love: 1) They absorb all the water on your skin! 2) They dry super fast, especially in the sun. No more still-damp, soggy, musty towels! 3) Sand does not stick to these! 4) They have held up well in the washer and dryer after multiple washes, and they’re still vibrant! 5) They take up much less space and are much lighter in a beach bag or luggage! 6) They are also my cover-up/sarong at the end of each beach/pool day! Note: These are not thick; in fact they’re quite thin… but they’re fantastic!

In the past, I've always used the thick/plush terry towels for bath and poolside. So when my best friend (she's Turkish) gave me a Turkish towel about 8 months ago as a gift, I didn't think I would like it. I thought it was too big, felt it wouldn't be very absorbant, and it just wasn't like what I had been used to using all my life. But I'm pretty open minded, plus I trust my friend's good taste, so I just gave it a go. Oh my goodness... After using it numerous times, and seeing how nicely it came out of the wash, I felt I had to have more! So I purchased these 6 and now they are the only towels I use! They dry really fast so each day my towel still smells and feels fresh, so I use it longer. Not only do I not have a load of towels at the end of the week, I just toss my towel in with some tee shirts and shorts and everything comes out great. I give it a few minutes tumble in the dryer to soften up and then just hang it back in the bathroom to finish drying. I wish I had known about these towels when I still had kids living at home! I also love taking them to the pool. My terry beach towel, once wet, never dried between times of getting in and out. The Turkish towel tossed over the back of my chair is dry everytime I reach for it. The important thing to know about these towels is they get more absorbant after they have been washed a few times. And also, it seems important not to over dry them in a dryer. I worried about finding the same quality towels as the one my friend brought back from Turkey since I read a review that stated these 6 are "not real Turkish towels". But the 6 I bought here, are the same quality as the one brought back from Turkey by my friend. So...with all that said...I can still see how maybe these towels aren't for everyone. They are thinner. No, they don't feel like terry towels. But they dry me off, stay fresh a lot longer, easy to care for, save money and energy through less laundry, and the colors are fun! Win win win! And btw, I've had no problems with the fringe. The knots are still secure and they haven't tangled or frizzed out. I hope this helps.

UPDATE: After taking the towels out of the dryer (cold wash, low/med/short time dryer) they were softer, did not appear to have much shrinkage, and folded up all six smaller than just one of my other towels. My husband and I have been using them all weekend. It sounds weird, but there's a learning curve in using these. It is NOT like drying off with a Terry towel. They are lighter weight unless you are actively rubbing an area of your body to dry it, it doesn't "cling" and absorb the way terry cloth towels do. (if that makes sense). My husband has back problems and sometimes needs assistance drying off his rediculously hairy legs..... These towels are AMAZING for that. They don't stick to his leg hairs and prevent rubbing like normal towels and they dry them super fast. If I ever decide to splurge on towels again, this will be the route I take. For starters I am happy with my purchase. They arrived exactly when they said they would. I also read the reviews before purchasing and another customer mentioned that one was able to contact the seller directly after checking out and request colour choices. I took advantage of this and got the colours I liked best. The first pic is of all 6 folded together right out of the package, all together they are just slightly bigger than one of my regular towels. I unfolded one and handed it to my husband, whose a big guy and it was able to give him as much if if not a bit more coverage than a bath sheet from a big box store. So far so good. The seller and most reviews said to wash before using, they are currently in the dryer. They were a bit rough right out of the package, some colours more than others, (probably due to the dyes, like with jeans). Who really wants to use a new towel without washing it first though..... All those random hands touching them.... No thanks. Even regular towels aren't as soft at purchase as they are after washing. I unfolded them all to put in washer and noticed a small place on one that looked like a small snag had been stitched over, but a well done job of it. This might bother some people, it doesn't bother me, it's not a hole. Would I purchase again?? That remains to be seen after I use them for a while. Truth be told if I hadn't have had a gift card I couldn't have brought myself to spend $42.00 on towels in the first place. I cringed at spending $14 for one at big box store. They were definitely less expensive than the ones I saw at the mall kiosk where my interest was first piqued of Turkish towels. Will try to remember to update and add post wash photos. These are great quality towels but also great gifts - split them up and use them as stocking stuffer or easter basket item - great size and fun colors!

So pleased with these towels. They are superb quality and come in a great choice of colours. As a family of 5, carrying large, heavy beach towels to the beach becomes quite cumbersome. These towels mean the beach bag is a lot lighter and gives you far more room for other items.

Thinner material than I expected but still useful as a sarong

I love the beautiful colors, I contact the seller to pick the colors. Very happy, haven't use them to the beach yet, I will update when I do. It's lightweight that is one of the reason I order these for my bike ride carry in my backpack. I washed in cold water and hang dry it's soft. For those who purchased these Google on how to take care of Turkish towels much easier to understand thanks to the person who mention that in the reviews. EDIT: they are unbelievably absorbent, love them so much. I do plan on ordering more for sure.

Lovely soft feel towels with next day delivery from Turkey (the seller kindly supplied full tracking details). I received the six colours in the main pictures. My photos are under artificial light (last two with flash), the white stripe of the towels is actually a bright fresh white under natural daylight. I've tried to show some towel edges and texture as well to give an impression of the weave and thickness.
