Played Chainlink with a group of friends and we had a great time with it! The concept is simple enough that everyone can pick it up pretty quickly, but the actual word connections can really get you thinking. Some of the answers feel obvious right away, while others have you completely overthinking what the connection could possibly be—which honestly makes the game even more fun. One of my favorite parts was watching everyone work through the clues in completely different ways. There were plenty of moments where someone would throw out all kinds of complicated answers, only to finally realize the actual word was much simpler than they thought. It led to a lot of laughs and some fun competitive moments. I also like that it feels like a mix between a party game and a problem-solving/word game, so you're actually using your brain while still having fun with everyone. With so many cards, it also feels like there's plenty of replay value without constantly seeing the same prompts. Overall, this is a great game for game nights, parties, or just hanging out with friends. Easy to learn, gets everyone involved, and definitely created some memorable moments for our group. Would recommend!

this game is great for adults and teens. We play it randomly when we have a little time just to keep our kids minds moving, with spelling, problem solving. Not only is it fun, challenging but it is a great tool to add to our Homeschool program.

If you’re competitive at NYT games, you’ll find this deck frustrating. “John deer?”’ That’s not a thing. “Athlete program?” Should be athletics. “Pea nut?” That’s not two words. “Door close.” Are we just free associating now?! A door closer is a piece of hardware if that’s what they meant. Many cards are decent, but some just leave you shaking your head. Maybe it requires being drunk to appreciate.
