I BOUGHT THIS VCR/DVD PLAYER FOR MY MOTHER BECAUSE IT WAS EASY TO USE AND LIKE THE ONE SHE HAD. WE WERE HAPPY AT FIRST IT WAS WORKING GOOD, EXCEPT IT WAS VERY LOUD WHEN FF & REW AND WHEN IT STOPS IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TAPE BROKE. AFTER 3 MONTHS THE DVD STOPPED WORKING AND THE DVD IS STUCK INSIDE, AND NOW THE VCR FLIPS SOMETIMES. I WROTE TO DISCOUNT JUNGLE (THROUGH AMAZON) AND THIS IS THE ANSWER I GOT. I GUESS THEY MEAN TUFF SH..!@ We are sorry to hear about your experience with the purchased unit. As much as we want to assist you, the item is no longer under warranty. I bought this product for an older friend who just lost his wife . He was going to watch old video's through the winter. The product showed up broken with no chords to plug it in and no remote. It’s to much hassle to ask him to return it. What a disappointment.
