I thought my old monitor was broke and was kinda bummed to have to buy a new monitor for our last baby. Ended up figuring out what was wrong with my old bit the picture on this monitor was so much better I ended up keeping it! Everything works great and it was a breeze to set up and hang. It reached everywhere in the house I’ve wanted so far. Zoom is good. I didn’t want WiFi because of potential to be hacked so this was perfect. Only thing I would change is that there is a green light that shines even when the screen is off and I have to lay it down on my nightstand because it bothers me as I’m trying to fall asleep. But maybe I’m just a picky sleeper. Was a step up from our old one! Definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a great monitor.

The Momcozy Video Baby Monitor has been a fantastic addition to our home. Video & Audio Quality: The 1080P camera delivers crisp, clear video both day and night. The night vision is excellent—no grainy shadows, just a clear view of our little one. Audio is sharp, with no static or lag, so we can hear even the smallest noises. Ease of Use: Setup was quick, and the 5" display is bright, easy to navigate, and responsive. The interface is simple enough that anyone in the family can use it without fuss. Performance: The connection is stable and responsive, with minimal delay. It works great around the house, letting us move from room to room without losing signal. Wish List: If I could change one thing, it would be to have a slightly longer range or the option to purchase range extenders. It works well in most situations, but a bit of extra reach would make it perfect for larger homes or outdoor use. Bottom Line: This is a high-quality, dependable baby monitor that gives us peace of mind day and night. Even with my wish for a longer range, it’s an easy 5-star recommendation.

We originally went with another brand and were not satisfied due to the loss of connectivity inside the house. After researching, I chose the Momcozy Video Monitor and have been very satisfied for well over a year!. The range of connectivity is great. The picture is clear even in black and white. You can change the volume as you see fit. You can also get the monitor to play music for your baby. Highly recommend this product. It will ease your mind as your baby sleeps.

Re-writing my review after 6 months of usage. Still recommended, though I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Baby monitors continue to be a frustrating product space, with mixed reviews on nearly every brand and unit. $30 wifi cameras will give better picture quality than a $200 baby monitor. I scoured the internet for reviews, and found very few unbiased and in-depth ones, yet many sponsored / influencer reviews. (For what it's worth Momcozy also seems to use influencer marketing). Things we like: 1. High resolution display - the image is crisp and clear. Many other cameras are 720p only. This one has a 1080p camera AND display. It means the digital zoom doesn't work quite as well (it gets a bit pixelated) but that tradeoff is fine for us. 2. Audio quality - Audio is clear, and the VOX feature (transmitting your voice through the camera) works very well. 3. USB-C charging - love this. No more hunting for that proprietary charger. We can use the same cable as our phone and laptops. Battery life has been sufficient too. 4. Night vision (mostly) - the night vision LEDs illuminate the area well (invisible to the naked eye, only seen by the camera), but are slightly misaligned on our unit. So the "bright spot" is not in the center of the camera view. 5. Menu / software - Interface is responsive and decently modern, especially compared to some other brands. 6. Tilt / pan feature - The camera movements are responsive and accurate with a wide range of motion. Things we dislike: 1. The range is average and the signal randomly cuts out. Our bedroom usually has 3 bars of strength, but will randomly disconnect during the night, leading to the screen illuminating and a loud beeping alarm notification. It restores after a few seconds on its own, but we have no idea why this happens and there's no fold-out antenna to improve the range. Very frustrating. 2. Plastic-y build and flimsy kickstand. Display units from many other brands are designed to stand upright. This one is not, and instead has a flimsy kickstand that folds out. It's not very stable and I suspect it will break off one of these days. 3. Screen sleep behavior. The unit will 'sleep' according to a timer, which turns off the screen and audio (both are then automatically re-enabled when it hears a loud sound). But there doesn't seem to sleep the unit manually. You turn off the screen by tapping the power button, but this doesn't turn off the audio (and will remain on forever). So the only option is to wait for the timer to shut both off. This can feel like an eternity in the middle of the night. Overall, would I buy it again? Probably. Though I'd probably take a look at the competition again first.

I was glad to find this monitor that doesn’t use wi-fi. The image is clear, and its night vision mode is really helpful. I found that the monitor volume is loud enough for me. That said, we don’t particularly like how loud the camera’s speaker can be. We avoid using the lullaby feature because it’s not only loud, but we haven’t been able to shut it off without unplugging the camera once we turn it on. But for what we’re doing with it, it works for us and enables us to let our baby sleep alone without us being physically present.

I love this monitor! Clear screen, easy to set up and move around the house! Worth every penny! Also plus that it’s not a wifi camera!

Here’s a clean, strong review that sounds real (not robotic), but still hits hard: ⸻ I honestly regret buying this monitor. This is now the third unit we’ve had, and every single one has had issues. The first one lost sound completely on the monitor. The second one started freezing, and the camera wouldn’t rotate properly, it would glitch and get stuck no matter what we tried (resetting, reconnecting, etc.). Customer service did send replacements, but that didn’t solve the bigger problem. The third one (brand new, never used, from a registry) worked for a while, then suddenly the monitor turned into a white screen. You could still hear audio, but there was no picture at all. On top of that, the sound is inconsistent even when it “works.” Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes it cuts out. And another thing I really hate — the monitor is way too bright. Even at the lowest brightness setting at night, it’s like having a flashlight in your face. There’s no way to dim it properly, which makes it really uncomfortable to use in a dark room. At this point, it’s just been a frustrating and unreliable experience overall. A baby monitor is something you need to trust, and this one just isn’t dependable. I would not recommend it.

This video monitor is fabulous! Super easy set up, just plug it in and turn it on. Couldn’t be simpler. The camera can be adjusted by using the monitor so you have a big range of coverage. The music choices are very nice as well and the volume control is a nice touch. Definitely wish we had bought this camera sooner. We purchased a highly expensive one with a monthly subscription for our home and a friend recommended this one when we needed a camera for my parent's house. Would’ve definitely skipped the over priced monitor and gotten one of these for our house if we had known. Great monitor/camera.

This is the best monitor I've bought so far and I've bought and returned many. I like that there's a volume button and you don't have to go through the menu. I also like that there's a volume option for the camera in the room (I just wish the music volume could go down lower as I've had to cover it bc it's too loud on lowest setting for sleep). I like that it can pan almost the entire room as well as pan down so you don't have to worry about the height your camera is at. Another plus is it has a seperate button for lullabies which makes it quick and easy to turn on. I like the overall design of it and it has a nice kickstand so it doesn't tip over easy. I bought a second camera and I like that I can view screens either seperate or side by side. The picture is very clear except when zooming. If I could perfect it I would turn the volume down on the speaker for the music, add more actual lullabies that are settling instead of kinda upbeat songs, and the front of the camera by the lens gets very hot. Idk if this is just mine or what but a lil unsafe I think. Other than that it's been my best option

We upgraded from our previous monitor as we will need two monitors soon, and I can't get over how much better this one is (at almost the same price-point too). The sound quality is so high that it feels like you're in the room. We also love the fact that we can move the camera remotely and zoom in. It gives us a bit of flexibility with where to install in since we had to worry about where cords would be exposed. The image quality is impressive, and most importantly, the device is house-safe which was really important for us. I am even considering purchasing the extra camera to just use this when the second baby arrives, rather than using our old monitor.

Wanted to like this monitor after all the positive reviews but it’s basically impossible for the monitor to be hands free as it takes over 24 hours to get even one charging bar and dies so quickly. Unless you are able to sit in the same spot with it plugged in while your baby sleeps, this monitor is not for you.
