Definitely kept the sea water out
Replaced my old snorkel with this one and not disappointed, it kept the water out my mouth when I submerged while snorkelling. Mouthpiece was nice and soft, so made my hour + snorkelling sessions much more comfortable.

Best Snorkel for a good price!
One of a best snorkels I've used! Decide to write this review after over a year of use and can tell that I recommend it 100%. First of all design looks great, mouth piece very comfortable, made of quality materials and yes it is Hyperdry! Absolutely recommend it!

Best snorkel I've ever used, extremely comfortable and brilliant at staying dry, on the dd occasion it does take on water it is easy to purge.

素潜り用に購入しました。海に行く前に水深5ｍのダイビングプールで試してみましたが、少し潜ると先端の弁が閉まるのでシュノーケルの筒の部分に水圧がかかり、口の中の空気をその分持っていかれます。阻止しようと舌で止めようとするとギューギュー舌が引っ張られて痛いです。 やむを得ず、弁の部分をドライバーで外して使う事としました。 深く考えずに買ってしまった自分が悪いのですが。。。 これは全くの水面用です、潜っちゃダメです。

My prior one lasted 20 years then eventually cracked. So I replaced it. Works great. It’s better to buy a quality snorkel (& mask) like this product, than rent if you go on beach vacations a lot like I do. Saves money in the end and you know that only your mouth has touched the mouthpiece. Plus this one is definitely higher quality than the ones that you can rent. Plus water does go down the top of the snorkel into your mouth due to the valve. Need to practice breathing with it when you poke your head up from the water. But that’s true of all snorkels made to prevent water from coming down the snorkel and into your mouth.
