The Premium Best Miki Matsubara

Great singer, love her music!

Miki Matsubara is an absolute treasure. This CD set was exactly as advertised and a great collection of songs. Ms. Matusbara had a beautiful voice and this appears to be a decent representation of her catalog. As someone who grew up in the U.S. during the 80s, having "new to me" music from that era is great. The music does a great job of evoking nostalgia due to its familiarity (yep, that's an 80s tune) yet seem new due to not being familiar with the songs or language. Highly recommended if you're interested in expanding a physical collection of "City Pop" on CD.

Came exactly as described, not damaged!

I first discovered Miki Matsubara's song "Stay with me" on youtube and fell in love with the song. I've listened to "Stay with me" for at least 50 times before I decided to buy this premium best cds. After listening to all the songs on the cd, I was happy with the decision I made. She is a great singer! I hope more people will discovered her songs like I did! Highly recommended.

Great songs, two discs, pretty packaging too

I love her music. Great pop. Great jazz.

A tragedy a lady of such musical talent with such a pure voice was lost so young! I do not speak Japanese so do not understand the majority of songs but do not need to do so to appreciate a singer of such undeniable quality!

「真夜中のドア」デビュー当時にレコード店店主に勧められ購入した懐かしの歌手である。年数と共に忘れていたが、最近になって話題になっていると知り、今回購入した。「真夜中のドア」懐かしく聴いたが、他の曲も含めその歌声には癖になるものがあり、収録曲も良かった。お買い得だと思っている。
