Great Quality Product
Easy to set up, remote didnt work so just took out the battery and put it back in again and worked. Purchased for playing my vinyl, but tested the bluetooth first from my phone sound quality is ok depending on where Im streaming from. When playing vinyl I noticed the sound quality improve immensly. More bassy, just a shame you cant control the bass and treble for the price paid. However, Im happy with it and worth the money.

Well made and good quality
So the speakers are really well made, I went for the bamboo finish. They are solid and heavy. Everything comes in there own little velvet bag. Cables all included even an aux Jack for a phone. I got the Bluetooth version, there is still an aux Jack and red and white in. Everything tells you it’s quality from just the packaging. I bought them to use with my decks. They are super compact and throw out a brilliant quality sound. But I also use them for sitting and enjoying music. I did order the subwoofer a week later and that made such a difference. If anything the bookshelf speakers lack a touch of bass and maybe a bit of EQ wouldn’t go a miss. They would be perfect for using with a TV or computer. I’d say they would be wasted on a computer if you are just gaming £400 to £500 for gaming seems a waste to me. The remote is basic but made out of a solid bit of aluminium. Definitely a good purchase. So compact and so powerful. I was wary as most of my Bluetooth speaker just don’t have the power, they lack depth and oomph. I’ve had/have Sonos, a beats pill +, jongo, and a klipsch dock. The audio engine wins hands down.

Remote control...
Great sound, easy to install and overall a great set. Esthetically very pleasing. Would have given 5* if it wasn't for the remote control. The little paper-tab that you need to remove broke, so now I have a very nice and shiny remote, that doesn't work. Amazon support was, well simply put, useless. Have contacted Audioengine direct and hope for a solution.

Expensive but worth every penny
Bought these speakers for the PC in my living room. It’s a large space so I felt that the A2s would’ve lacked the required power. But given that these can make the whole room shake when on full blast I may have underestimated their power lol. The sound quality is excellent and whilst I don’t have the audio engine DAC for the wired connection from my PC I find that the quality is just as good as when I’m using the wireless, which goes through the audio engine DAC. I also bought the stands to go with them and would definitely recommend you get them unless you have an adequate place to put them already as they greatly reduce the amount of reverb that goes through my pc desk. Anyway top speakers and I can’t fault them.

Stunningly good but pricey and very large
Sound quality and detail is really impressive - and I've had a lot of different speaker set ups. However they were much larger than I was expecting. They're basically the size you'd use for a medium/large living. No way I could fit them in my office unfortunately. Wish I hadn't listened to them - made it so hard to send them back.

Solid sound
Sound great so far, although still need a bit of breaking in per manufacturer recommendations. Would recommend.

Amazing
Breathtaking. Worth every penny. If they completely stop working the day after they're 3 years old I will still consider them the best speakers I've ever owned. They took a few hours for my ears to get used to them, at first they sounded a bit muddy but now I can hear so much detail and they're just amazing.

Expensive but soooooo worth it
Ok, they are expensive and there are cheaper speakers. But as the saying goes "You get what you pay for". The sound is amazing, clear, crisp and full of depth. They are meant as desk top speakers, but as they are the size of standard hi-fi speakers, you need a big desk. Also bought the S8 sub-woofer, which completes the set. worth the cost. All in all, well worth the money if you like your music,

The Audioengine A5 Wireless Home Theater Bookshelf Speakers are a stellar product that I wholeheartedly recommend. Whether you're an audiophile, a movie buff, or just someone who appreciates great sound, these speakers will not disappoint. They combine top-tier audio performance with a sleek design and user-friendly features, making them a standout in their category. If there is a con, the on/off switch is located on the back of the speaker.
