My cat is going on 14 years and is suffering arthritis from old age and having been declawed. This last year she has become much less sure of herself when it comes to jumping and moving around. She has developed a very noticeable limp that came and went but was becoming more frequent. I decided to give this a go and was extremely surprised by the results. It's been almost 2 weeks since I started giving her glyco-flex and her limping has not made a reappearance since. In fact, she is jumping and running around like I haven't seen in years. I need to give it some more time to see how the longterm progression is, but without a doubt, my cat is definitely feeling better and that is all I can ask for.Taste wise, she is only moderately interested in the treats but she hasn't turned her nose up at it yet. Overall, I am just overjoyed at seeing her feel better and be able to enjoy life as much as possible with the time she has left. Thanks, Glyco-flex!

I'm almost through with the first bag of these cat supplements, and both cats seem to like them quite well! I have to admit, like others have mentioned, the pieces are kind of hard. It's not a problem for me or the cats though, because I break them into small pieces. It's easy enough for me to do with my fingers. I may add to my review later in regards to pain relief...my kitties have only been taking these for about a week now.

These are not bite-sized. They're two or three bites. The first batch I purchased (The GlycoFlex stage II in the green bag) were soft, so I could pull them apart for my 13 year old cat to chew and digest easilyThese were incredibly hard. As in rock hard. Even a sharp paring knife wouldn't work. I had to..well..I Now know the lengths I'd go to make sure something your cat needs is something they can chew,/in other news, they didn't taste as horrible as I was bracing myself for when I bit them int to smaller pieces.If these are made for cats with joint problems..who are most likely OLDER cats, why make a large rock-solid joint aid that they can't chew into smaller pieces, much lest digest?I'm incredibly disappointed that they wouldn't pay more attention to quality control for something like this.You wouldn't give a baby with no teeth, or a child with digestive problems, an apple; and expect that to have a good outcome.I'll never buy these, or anything else, from this vendor again.
