My favorite cleanser, always does the job! Melts my makeup off and leaves my skin soft and clean.

I got the small size to try. Fell in love. I have controlled rosacea and have to be very careful about products. I also live in an area that is very dry in winter and my skin gets taut. This balm is the bomb! I got two more small sizes as gifts for 2 SIL’s. They both absolutely loved. We all said 4our skin so soft and radiant. So now I have ordered the larger size and this is my go to. Over Elemis. Over Kielhs. Amazing product.

This is my favorite cleansing balm. I've tried many others and keep coming back to this. Works great, leaves skin soft and not dried out, and the scent makes me feel like I'm at a spa. I have very sensitive skin and this has never caused irritation. I'm done trying others. This is worth every penny.

I'm on a permanent quest for the perfect skin care products and regime. However, skincare reviews always need a disclaimer because every person's skin is different. If it works for you, awesome! This cleanser did NOT work for me. My skin is very sensitive with limited redness, mild rosacea, very fair/light. The CR cleanser is touted as superior to Eve Lom (or an Eve Lom knock-off) because "it doesn't have mineral oil." While that's technically true, this is still a petroleum-based product. It's main ingredient is paraffin (petroleum product). Personally, I don't swear off products based only on inclusion of mineral oil, etc. I only mention it because CR uses this as a big part of the marketing of this product and I think it's unethical to do that when your product is still petroleum-based. This cleanser made me break out and irritated my skin so much that I even got a cold sore. That's happened to me before with certain products so I know for sure it was caused by this product. I gave myself a week-long break after my initial 2 days of morning and evening use and when I tried it again, the same irritation happened. The "key ingredients" CR advertises are far down on the ingredient list. It does take off your make-up when used with the included cloth (again, copying E. Lom) but if you were going to use it I would say follow-up with a 'second cleanse' to balance the skin ph. I definitely don't recommend this product.

Funciona muy bien, disuelve todo el maquillaje, hasta el rimmel a prueba de agua. No deja sensacion grasosa pero hay que quitarselo con un papel para no tapar el lavabo, luego ya lavarse la la cara con jabon, es un buen producto, huele a romero y algo mas, pero es carisimo a precio regular, yo lo compre en oferta y lo volveria a comprar asi pero a precio normal jamas.

I was excited to try this pricey balm because makeup guru Erica Taylor swears by it. I agree it is very good quality, and a little goes a long way. I’m also scent sensitive, and the scent does not bother me. I use several different mascaras regularly just depending on how I’m feeling that day. It does remove a basic mascara, but the heavier formulas, it doesn’t - at least not fully. This is the reason I’ve never used balms. I find it cumbersome to remove my makeup, then have to go back with another product to remove the stubborn mascara. So, 4 stars because it works most of the time, and leaves skin feeling really nice. Not sure if I will repurchase, will see if it seemed worth the price when I’m done the jar.
