Functional and easy to use
It's really good stuff honestly but unfortunately I seem to be allergic to it. Its easy to use and apply to the skin, it sticks well and you can really forget it's there (unless you have an allergic reaction)

WAY better than cling film (for tattoos)
Recently got a couple tattoos on my arms, I’ve previously used cling film which was always awkward, annoying, the tape would always come off, and just overall uncomfortable. This time I used this, and straight away it was a whole different mind blowing experience. It’s a little time consuming if you want to do it right, but once it’s on you can get on with your life. You can function normally as if it wasn’t even there where I found with cling film, every movement you would be reminded of how uncomfortable it was. I cannot speak for really big pieces or if it’s different with coloured tattoos, but I would presume it would still work perfectly. The only thing was when it got into contact with any kind of moisture it would tend to peel. I believe it said waterproof somewhere in the description but after a shower they most certainly have to be replaced. Also, just chilling in a warm concert hall was enough for some to start peeling, but then again I presume it would be the same for cling film if not a lot worse. Overall I highly recommend this product. A little pricey, but for the comfort you get with it, it is definitely worth it!

Brilliant healing film — easy to apply and stays put
Used this during the healing stage of a fresh tattoo and it made a noticeable difference. Easy to cut to size, applies smoothly, and stays in place without peeling at the edges. It protected the tattoo properly while still letting the skin breathe, and removal was painless when the time came. Healing was quicker and much less messy compared to traditional cling film methods. Highly recommended if you’re healing a new tattoo or want a cleaner, more comfortable aftercare option. Make sure to test patch though if you have sensitive skin.

Good but my skin had a reaction from it
It does what it says but I did get a skin reaction from it. It protects your tattoo well but watch for rashes, there is nothing wrong with the product but some peoples skin is sensitive. I left it on and my skin was fine after a week or so but be aware.

Works brilliantly!
I have several tattoos but had never even heard of tattoo film until recently, so I decided to give it a go. I’m very active, so not having to wash and moisturise 3 times a day or deal with it getting stuck to clothing and bedding sounded great. I did a patch test for 24 hours and no issues. I got my artist to apply it to a large mandala on my upper arm. She had never used it before either but it went on easily enough. Left it on until I’d been to the gym next morning, then peeled it off, which was really easy due to the small build up of plasma and ink. Gave the tat a good wash with antibac soap, patted dry then air died for 10 mins before applying a very thin layer of tattoo goo balm and then the dermalize in multiple 2.5” strips with the edges rounded off. I found this really easy to do on my own. I kept the film on for a further 6 days and found it just fab. I basically didn’t have to think about the tattoo and just got on with working out etc, sleeping as normal. The film is very stretchy and didn’t bother me at all. On the 6th day (so 7 days after getting the tattoo) I peeled it off in the shower. It was still well stuck down but with water it came off easily, tiny bits of residual glue came off when applying lotion. The tattoo was beautifully smooth and had healed up perfectly. I had almost no scabbing/flaking and less itching than I’ve experienced with conventional healing, and it made the healing process much faster and less hassle. I will be using Dermalize on all my tattoos in future, it’s a game changer for me!

Best stuff out there
Excellent product.....used on all my tattoos over the years. I use it with the Goo range for aftercare. Don't skimp on cheaper stuff.

Trial and error but finally, something that works!
I’ve used Dermalize before and didn’t really enjoy the experience but wanted to try it again with a different method. The day of the tattoo and the day after I left what the tattooist put on it so it would get most of the tattoo ooze out of the way. Evening of day 2 I washed it and applied cling film. On day 3, I washed it, patted dry and applied a Dermalize. I left the same Dermalize on for 6 days and was able to shower without it peeling then the day of removal, (always remove it under running water or in a shallow bath) some adhesive stuck to the tattooed area but with warm soapy water it came off after several attempts and the tattoo has hardly gone flakey. Tattoo has healed perfectly and no more smelling or feeling like you’re a sandwich! Make sure that when you receive it that it’s got the security seal on the outer casing and it’s got the sealed wrap on the roll (see photos). Will definitely use it again for my next tattoo.
