Purple Lipstick Matte for Women Color Stay Long Lasting Lipsticks

Let me start by saying I did my research thoroughly, but the color I received was nothing like what I thought I was getting. That said... What I wanted was a deep matte red that I have been seeing much of Hollywood wearing these days. What I got, was a tomato-y red on the orange side, the color you see Tina Turner wear. Still I gave it a try. I noticed as I was putting it on, it went on rather sheer, and I could see my lip color through the first layer, and found myself layering it on so many times, that eventually, I stopped focusing on my lips and put all my attention on helping my child learn how to drive. When I thought about it again, I looked in the mirror and to my astonishment.... this lipstick was a BEAUTIFUL DEEP ORANGE RED, which does go with my undertones (another reason I didn't make too much of a fuss), and was so smooth with no lines and wrinkles. The best part about this lippie, is that it was not tacky on the lips, when I did the M test, my lips didn't stick together!!! It stayed put the rest of the evening, and none came off in the center where my lips meet. Sorry, I did not do a water bottle/ napkin test. It did not crumble and dry out on my lips. Taking it off with liquid soap didn't really help, and using my usual coconut oil, there was still a little left on. If there was a sent, it was so unimportant and didn't stand out, that I do not remember if there even was a scent or not. This one did it's job, ladies!!! And rather superbly, at that ( and I never use that word...lol). I am looking very forward to other colors

This MAY be the best lipstick I ever bought! It glides on smooth, and the colors are on point! The only Con I have, is that it doesn't stay on long. You would have to keep reapplying. Especially after eating, or drinking something. It gives off the affect of "colorstay" but its not. But if they can improve on that, this lipstick would be Perfect!

The color is a bright coral color . Not what I expected. Still pretty though

Yes to the matte finish and long lasting. No to the color not being as shown - it’s way more bright orange than it looks

Update: I originally gave a 1 star review because I thought they had given me the wrong shade, but the turn around for a new replacement was immediate and even though the new one sent is still not the darker shade I remember, it’s still a beautiful shade of red. I’m wondering if they did something different to the shade or maybe I’m remembering incorrectly. I might go with the next darker shade next time. Beautiful vibrant colors. It’s a little difficult to remove, but I just use baby oil. Also it does rub off but it’s so beautiful I don’t care, I just reapply. OLD REVIEW: I absolutely LOVED the color Trust you, but as soon as I ran out I had seen MVP Red and I thought I would give it a try. I like it but I didn't love it, so I decided I would order TRUST YOU again, and I did but when I put it on it was like I was wearing mvp Red again, the color was identical to mvp red. I was disappointed. It was not the same shade of Trust You that I had purchased before. The only thing I can figure is that I got sent the wrong one, considering the only thing that distinguishes each one is a tiny sticker with a name of the shade. I will change the review if I can get the right shade.

The runs are wonderful, but the problem is that between the lips it starts to come out and you have to keep retouching. For those who are going to use 1:00 hour is great, but hours to but will have to keep retouching.

The color is beautiful, but..... not the right tone. I ordered dark brown. But is not brown is more like a deep red, and more importantly iy won't last long. As soon as you start drinking or eating it will get everywhere and when you realize it's a big red mess. So disappointed because the color is gorgeous but it won't stay. Hope this help you
