Knifel Submersible Pump 2500L/H 45W for Fountains and Aquariums

I am so thrilled with this. It is much stronger than my old one yet is very quiet, and makes a lovely little water fall even though it is pumping over 2, 1/2 ft. It took me a while to join it to an extension which was very fiddly and time consuming but I have it going at last.

I purchased it to replace an existing pump which had failed. After installation, it is working OK. To connect the mains cable, I needed to cut off the 13A plug on the pump and, via an IP68 connector to join it to the existing supply cable. Where I had a problem was that the new pump cable wire colours were green, white and black. So if you cut off the 13A plug, you need to translate the USA/Canadian colours to the UK wiring convention. Very surprised that a 13A fuse was in the plug for a 45W pump.

not fit for purpose, absolute rubbish, keeps getting blocked up. broke the day after last return date! going in the bin

Was quiet and initially powerful but now a few months in, the prop shaft has worn inconsistently and now the pump lacks power. It has become noisier. The short cable was an issue but I had to remove the plug to add extra cable. Pity parts aren't available to replace the worn shaft.

Very powerful almost to powerful for my small pond . Great value .
