Simple, Compact Scanner – Works Well for Daily Scanning Needs
I’m happy with the Canon LiDE 300 Colour Flatbed Scanner overall. It’s a compact and lightweight scanner that works well for everyday scanning needs like documents, photos, and basic office work. The installation and setup were straightforward, and the scanner works smoothly once the drivers are installed. The scan quality is clear and good enough for normal documents and images. It’s also convenient that the scanner is powered through a single USB cable, so there’s no need for a separate power adapter. One thing worth mentioning is the DPI specification. The product listing mentions 2400 × 2400 DPI, but from my experience the practical scanning resolution seems closer to 600 DPI for typical use. For most everyday scanning tasks this is still perfectly fine, but it might be a bit confusing if someone expects the full 2400 DPI performance in all situations. Overall, it’s a reliable scanner for home or small office use. If you need a simple, space-saving scanner for documents and occasional photo scans, this is a good choice.
