Lip stain stays. It really stays through food and drinks but drying and a lil sticky, though tolerable.

Long lasting

I really wanted to like this product as Maybelline typically never misses - but there are a couple of glaring flaws with this one. I got shade Skinny Dip, which is a lovely color and complements my fair brown skin tone well, and I like that it has a very soft, velvety feel upon application. However, it remains sticky for hours even after drying, and comes off in a weird dead skin residue on surfaces like straws or coffee cups. I think the issue is that it dries out the skin and promotes chapping. I ended up having to apply it on top of a layer of lip balm every day to prevent the drying-out and sticky feel. But of course, it comes off easily when eating and drinking if it's applied on top of lip balm and not directly to the skin.
