I tried to cancel this order because I wasn’t sure if i would like it after reading all the reviews, but it was too late to cancel since the order had already been processed. I’m so glad. I love this powder. It’s easy to use and the color is perfect. The product is not thick or greasy. It covers the gray roots perfectly and looks very natural.

I use this for the bald spot in the back of my head and it Blends in very well. It comes in really nice packaging and is worth the price.

I have been looking for something to cover my salt and pepper root line between colorings. Nothing really works well but hope springs eternal so I decided to give this a try. I didn't have a full choice of colors for Vine review so I chose the one I thought was closest to the faded color near the grown out roots. Light Brown based on the photos in the listing. The product comes nicely packaged and includes 3 small cakes of color, one already loaded in the holder. There are two application tools cleverly hidden in the product holder. A small tip that doubles as the handle of the hinged cap, and a larger application pad that's hidden ion the bottom. There is a mirror in the top above the powder cake. You need to take the protective film off it. There is also an included tool for removing the cake tin so it can be replaced. The powder is a slightly waxy texture so it doesn't go flying everywhere, but doesn't make your hair greasy. it can be combed or brushed through after application in order to ensure a smooth color transition and blend. I included a before and after of my part. This is 3 weeks late on a color at the salon. The product went on easily and blended with one brush through. Close enough for a few days use before a salon visit, but I'd suggest getting one shade darker than you think you need based on the on-line listing photos. I could definitely have gone darker if I had had the option. No gritty feel or itchiness after application. I'm holding onto this to use as my stylist and I continue my slow transition to full salt and pepper. However I fully intend to purchase this in a darker shade to use now. Based on my previous experience with this type of product the was a pleasant surprise. An excellent product for anybody who needs a temporary cover for roots that washed away. I also like that the packaging makes it easy to carry along for travel or for any touch ups during the day. I can't speak to if it works to conceal thinning areas or alopecia. However I can highly recommend it for root touch up.
