I went on a trip to South America and found the voltage converter very functional. There are more than adequate plugs. I plugged in two phones, a watch and a back-up battery. It has ample USB ports too.

Does not work with many hair appliances! Bought this for a trip to the UK and Italy. I made sure that it indicated it would work for both plug and power conversion. It worked fine for charging phones (although slow); but would not work AT ALL with my hair dryer, curling irons, or new travel steamer in either country. Very frustrating and disappointing. Return date had passed by the time I returned from my trip. Absolutely do not recommend!!

There's a really loud whine from the fan that's noticeable when your room is quiet. Wish I could reduce the volume somehow.

It's a nice tool to have if you ever travel to EU or Asia.
