Fits and looks great, im really happy with this tent. And there's alot of room. I have a 5.5ft bed but chose the 6.5 so I could include the tailgate space. This will work great and it comes with a rain guard as well for those wet PNW nights.

I keep this in the back of my 2023 Tacoma for when I travel in the very unpredictable, and typically VERY BAD WEATHER of Erie, PA. There have been occasions when the roads get blocked and you're forced to spend a considerable amount of time waiting to get plowed free....so I throw up this tent, open the sliding back window, turn on the truck's heater on high, and wait it out. This is a PERFECT solution for that kind of situation, and yeah, it also works for PLANNED CAMPING TRIPS just as well!!!

This is a simple and easy to carry along tent that's good for whenever you need it. I wouldn't use it over an extended period but it is good for a day or two. The 6.0-6.3 fits a 2010 ford ranger very well. I have not tried it camping yet, but after looking at others this is the only one I could find which would fit a compact trucks width. Set up is quick (less than 10 minutes), with poles being color coded. 2 people make it easier. Put tent together on ground, then lift into truck, secure, and you’re done. Pics don’t show rain fly, but rain fly is included and fits well.

I set this up right in the bed of my old pickup and felt like I’d built a little treehouse for grown-ups. The JOYTUTUS truck tent fits snug over the 6 foot bed and it went up smoother than I expected for something with so many clips and flaps. Took me about 20 minutes the first time. Longer if you count the cat jumping in halfway through and refusing to leave. The material feels tough and well stitched. We had one solid rain overnight and the inside stayed dry as a bone. The rainfly does its job and there’s enough airflow that we didn’t wake up feeling like we’d slept in a greenhouse. Plenty of room for two grown folks or one grandkid and a pile of snacks if you're doing backyard camping. Zippers glide easy even with cold fingers. The floorless design makes cleanup easier, especially if you’re tracking in leaves, and the windows give you a good view of the stars or squirrels depending on where you park. Grandkid bonus: My 11 year old called it "lowkey epic" and immediately started planning ghost stories and s’mores nights. They also said the gray blue color "kinda slaps" which I think means it’s stylish without being loud. One tip. It helps to have a second set of hands when first popping it over the tailgate, especially if your arms don’t lift like they used to. But once it's in place, this thing feels sturdy and secure. Great for overnights, weekend wanderings, or just a change of scenery without ever leaving the driveway.

Despite taking months to receive, the tent arrived well packaged and in great condition. It is made of pretty solid materials and fits on the bed of my truck perfectly. For my husband and I, spontaneous adventures can occur with little notice so keeping this stowed away in the truck ensures we always have a place to sleep, even if we are far away from a hotel. The tent is really easy to set up as well and it does allow for us to throw our truck bed style air mattress in there as well. Again, perfect for spontaneous adventurers or to just have in case of an emergency and you get stuck somewhere.

This kit did come with instructions but they were not very explanatory. Fortunately, I knew how to put up tents so I did it without the included instructions. The tent felt great for durability, waterproof, and comfort. It fit perfect on the back of my truck and a twin air mattress will do great. I can see me sleeping in this when camping, by myself. Too small for two, unless they two are both skinny. I felt the cost was a bit much for a small tent but I am not going to complain, after all, inflation is part of the high prices.
