So if you don't do much outside work and are a bit more careful than a mechanic, then this watch I could see lasting at least 8 months to a year. Otherwise Don't get this for kids. I have many many luxury watches and I bought this just for Halloween. I wore it to work and had so many compliments. Attractive sugar skill wooden material as pictured. Too big - arrows on band not labeled. Very hard to shorten, pin remover broke with no extra pins. For a $30 watch, am I expecting too much? Do I have to go to a jeweler for an inexpensive watch? Nice looking but instructions were no good- no markings-
