Young at Heart for Senior Cats - Heart & Circulation, 4 oz

My senior cat has a heart condition that was going to need medication. Since finding this natural supplement I kept the condition stable. No need for medication so far and no side effects.

I ordered the Young at Heart drops for my senior cat who cannot take heart meds. His veterinarian gave the okay to try a natural and gentle approach, and she trusts the quality of their testing. After only a week, he has been eating more, has zoomies again, and gets better rest. He is a little guy so the small amount of drops in his wet food goes undetected. If the taste were bad, he certainly would not eat a bite, and he's very suspicious of being dosed. The price is acceptable considering the transformation, so I am very happy.

It's too early to tell, but i've gone through the first full bottle. So basically, three months of giving this to my three year old Maine Coon with a heart murmur. I just added to her food and mix it in and she eats it no problem. She has not yet demonstrated any symptoms of having a heart problem. But i'm hoping this will stave off or delay any heart problems that she might have in the future. I might update this review again after she's been on it for longer.

After my vet approved this (my baby girl has CKD so I'm super careful) - we have begun putting it in my kitty's food. Her energy has gone up so much that my other senior cat is now miserable LOL - kidding but not kidding, I actually had to get a kitten to keep up with her so she'd leave her sister alone. I can't attribute this 100% just to this supplement, as we have also gone on a low phos diet so I am sure her little kidneys have felt better! The dropper is super easy to dose, and THANK YOU for not making this that gross bacon flavor (my cat would've typed that, because she won't touch those supplements. Great value for a spark in energy! P.S - we have been taking it for 2 months now.

This is a really great product, made by a great, well-known company that makes some of the best feline supplementation products on the market. Pet Wellbeing makes excellent, high quality products (including this one), which is why they're not the cheapest products on the market - it's because you're getting what you pay for - high quality supplements for the health of your furbabies. I like that this product is veterinarian-formulated. It contains high quality ingredients, each of which contribute in their own way to supporting the cardiovascular and circulatory systems in cats - including the strengthening of their blood vessel integrity. The flavor is listed as bacon - why? Because 'who doesn't love bacon'! All levity aside, my little furbaby has absolutely no qualms about the taste. As I've been mixing this product with my kitty's wet food daily, she seems to enjoy her food the same as she enjoyed her food prior to my adding this product to my kitty's diet. I'm not sure if she actually likes the flavor, but it's clear that she doesn't dislike the flavor. My cat can be pretty finicky about her food, as well as other supplements that I've added to her food in the past. Lastly, I'm happy that this product doesn't require refrigeration. It only needs to be kept in a cool, dark place. For me, that's a bonus. There are absolutely no problems or issues with this product - only benefits. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to support the overall health of their kitties as they get older.

I have a cat who is pretty good about taking medicines. Our previous cat had some issues and I was very upset that I did not have a cabinet of treatments when he needed them to help save his life. I got this for future use. BOTTLE This is a good sized bottle. The dropper is large and easy to fill with enough of a dosage to help administer to the cat. DOES SHE LIKE IT? In testing to see if she would take this, I gave it to her but at first she did not want to take it. She would take a little, but since she does not need it really badly right now, that is not to say she would not take it if she really needed it. She is really good about taking things when needed. DOES THIS AFFECT HER? She had energy, was full of action after taking this, but she was not bad before, so I can not really comment on really tough health issues yet. This is to have on hand for preventative and emergency. THE BOTTOM LINE This seems to be a good combination, cat will take it, and it does not need refrigeration. MY RATING FOUR STARS. I can not tell how this would help in dire situations, but for taking it it seems like it would work for her and she is not opposed to taking it even when she is not in dire need of taking this. The taste does not turn her off. I am glad to have this on hand to help her when needed. I also like to have these things on hand in case a feral cat might need some help too.

I love Pet Wellbeing products and have used a couple of them for many years - kidney, urinary tract, immune system support and now this one for heart health. I have been very happy with all of them. My most senior kitty is 18 and she has just started on high blood pressure medication. She uses the kidney support drops, and I am now giving her these drops daily as well. She doesn't have any issues with them. We will see the impact after she has been on it for a bit longer. I will always trust Pet Wellbeing products, and as they are herbal supplements, I don't expect any surprised with how my cats respond to them.
