Sunbrella is known to fray after cutting... be prepared to cure the issue
Perfect for the application. Sunbrella and similar type fabric is know to fray at the edges. Use hot knife to seal the fabric as you cut, or sew with using double-fold hem (folding the edge over twice) or a single-fold hem adding an additional second straight stitch near the original. In a pinch use overcast stitch or zig zag on the single cut. Since Sunbrella material is pricey and usually used outdoors, would opt for the single or double fold hem.

All around wonderful quality fabric.
Quality fabric; maintains it color. The fabric wears, washes and dries very well (little to no fading) I have used Sunbrella fabric for my porch curtains for decades. The fabric is heavy enough to hang well against wind and rain. Fabric has been serged around the edges only. The fabric does not run or pill. The curtains are exposed to southern and afternoon west sun. They hold up against sun, wind and rain. Very quick shipping too.

Excellent Fabric for boat and outdoor black material covers
Excellent fabric for boat cover patch work. Works excellently on frayed and torn cover spots. (Use with the white fabric glue) dries in 3 minutes.
