A whistle has one, and only one true function. Make noise when blown into, and it fails this task spectacularly. Avoid this, get something better, like a working whistle.*UPDATEThey quickly sent me a replacement, and it's barely functional just like the first. Absolute garbage at it's core.

Horrible, DO NOT GET. I tried blowing the whistle when it arrived, and it didn’t work!

Awesome, sturdy and super loud!
I'm very happy with this purchase. It's very well built and solid construction. I have no doubt it will last a long time. It's super, super loud, which makes sense as it needed to be heard over the sound of the WW1 battlefield. You may want to have hearing protection if you are using it indoors. My ears are still ringing an hour after blowing it a few times. Great as a piece of history or just as a whistle. It will definitely get people's attention.
