Good Safe Device for Music for kids
Good for my son who can listen to music only - no videos, no games. It has bluetooth and wifi and comes with both Spotify and Spotify kids. This comes with a bunch of other apps like chrome but you can delete them. There isn't a 'playstore' or anything to download any new apps once you delete them, you have to reset to get them back. So it is nice because my son can only listen to music on this. You can add a parent lock and a lock by timer if you choose. You do have to have an account to login to Spotify kids. Or you can download your own music on it as it has a music player by plugging into a computer. You can upload photos and videos if you want but it has no camera, just a gallery for photo uploads - We changed the background photo . Hope this helped. I looked around for a long time for something like this for my son. :)

Exploding battery!
After 8 months battery swelled up and started crackling while charging. Still turns on, bit it swelled so bad the screen cracked and popped out. Always in a case with a screen protector. It worked OK before, but was EXTREMELY slow to browse songs on Spotify. Good for a kid if you want to limit access to Internet or games, but want to allow music or audiobooks.

The twins absolutely love these and I loved the price.
I bought these TIMMKOO 80GB Kids MP3 Players for the twins (the girls are 8 yrs old) and as soon as they opened them, they disappeared! I really wasn't sure if they would have much interest in video games but they absolutely loved these. They have a set number of games to play and that's pretty much what you get. Uploading app's is not an option which can be good or bad... I feel for an 8 year old it's great not having to worry about anyone downloading bad apps. Tey do have parental controls for all of the existing app's, bluetooth, and mp3 player with storage for favorite songs as well.
