As a collector of ceremonial swords, this officer sword turned out to be the perfect gift for a friend's 50th birthday. The 41" Stainless Steel Sword was a surprisingly heavy weight and came with a metal scabbard to protect the blade. The decorative handle and inscriptions made an impressive display in his office/study. I was very pleased with the quality and authenticity of this sword.

The blade was coated with probably the same material that I remember cleaning off my rifle. It is a beautiful ornamental sword and well worth the $$$.

SCZO made a beauty with this reproduction sword. Arrived in perfect condition. Slight tug to draw from scabbard and makes the nice swoosh sound. The scabbard has brass hangers and ferrule for nice detail. Came unsharpened which I prefer for display use only. Handguard is detailed on the backside as well as front. Nice etching on blade, well done. Very pleased with this purchase.

-The weight is unbalanced, it looked like from the images that the fuller was deeper which should have made the weight more balanced in the handle but it is barely there in the actual product -There was a large dent on both sides of scabbard as well as a gash shown in the first pic -The country of origin is larger in the actual product than shown in the pictures but that's just a preference choice -I do wish that the designs both started at the same distance from the handle but the side with INDIA on it starts higher off which means both sides aren't parallel -The side which doesn't show INDIA has very light designs as if it wasn't fully pressed in and looks like a bad fake tattoo For the price point it is cool enough but not great

This sabre looks cool but the problem is that it keeps getting stuck.

you get what you pay for, but it looks great and since my son is using it only as a display sword, this works perfectly.

Definitely a wall hanger, a few flaws with the sword I got, the blade is not lined up straight with the hilt (handle), it is also hard to slide in and out of the scabbard, not sharp at all, if one wants to sharpen it, you will have to be very careful not to scratch the decorative engraving which close to the edge, the engraving has “U.S” about the middle, however it also has “India” in large letters engraved by the base of the hilt, not worth it if you are looking for an item close to a real sword

A great buy if your looking for a realistic looking sword however if not it doesn't have an edge so you can't cut further more the sword comes tightly wrapped to the sheath and so when removing remember it is two parts one could fall if your not careful or give you quite the scare when the sword slides across your hand
