JJRING 32 inch by 42 inch Large Black Dacron Light Weight Art Portfolio Case

Mon père était un artiste, gravures, peintures, etc, et suite à son décès, nous avons eu plusieurs gravures et celles-ci sont d'une grandeur légèrement hors normes. Ce portefolio a la grandeur parfaite pour les accueillir. Seul petit problème, il ne s'ouvre pas en entier mais juste en partie. Je veux dire qu'il ne s'ouvre pas au complet, comme une serviette.

Designed for either a work in progress or a finished work. The zipper is good and the straps are sturdy. Designed to hold what you put in, which in my case is one of the paintings done by my late grandfather. Easy design for a work of art.

The reason I was in the market for a new portfolio is my partner unknowingly knocked a quart can of polycrylic clear coat from a high enough elevation that it knocked the lid off and the entire contents spilled all over the LVT flooring where my very full portfolio was sitting. This went undiscovered for 3 DAYS and not one piece of art or my very expensive large format watercolor paper was damaged. Had this occurred with this particular bag I would have lost $1000.00's in my finished art and watercolor paper (some costing over $100.00) There is NO inner support, so be prepared to make your own inner support system. I customized several polystyrene boards for both framing support and sectioning, I used a staple gun and good old duct tape to secure them. Because I made them to fit the exact dimensions of the bag I did not need to attach the framing support to the bag itself! It is working like a charm! I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT, it straight up lies in the description It's ABSOLUTELY NOT waterproof or water resistant (I checked), the fabric is flimsy at best. You can see through it when held up to light (my previous bag was 00% opaque ) The handle is not adjustable and is RIDICULOUSLY SHORT for such a large bag! The online images show an additional longer strap! WHICH DOES NOT EXIST! Not only is there NO longer strap, but due to the thin, flimsy fabric, lack of inner structure and size installing grommets to accommodate a longer strap will most likely end up ripping the material the first time you pick it up! I am extremely leery of exposing it to direct (indirect) sunlight, damp/wet conditions, i.e.; raining, snowing. Should you need to set it down outside even for a few seconds the fabric doesn't repel water, it soaks it up! There are no "feet" to enable it to stand upright by itself and the side pocket is.. well I'm not sure why they even added one! It's ridiculously small. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT! Spend the extra $75-$100.00 and get a high quality portfolio that will protect your artwork or whatever else you need one for!
