UPDATE 2/10/25: I added a star because, I discovered that this will work with just the one type-C cable with my laptop!!! I don't even have to use the C-HDMI cable at all which is nice since having to mess with multiple cords is....messy. I do think the bracket/hinge could be a bit stronger but I also think that if it were much stronger, my plastic laptop lid/monitor might get damaged with long term use. For reference, my laptop is a Dell Precision 3590. As long as I've got the back propped on a surface, it's fine. Also, I took it with me this past weekend to a meeting and it was super convenient to carry with my laptop in my backpack. I do use it with a Bluetooth mouse because with multiple windows, I just need it. In the pics, you'll notice that I've got 2 windows open on each screen. For my job in social work, I almost always have at least 5 windows open. Of course, I couldn't show those since they are for work, but I can attest that this monitor extender works perfectly fine for my needs. Also, in the picture of the spring hinge up close, you can see that it is adjusted out to the furthest length. This also helped hold the bracket more snugly on my laptop lid. I will add a picture later. It works great with my Dell work laptop. I was able to set it up in minutes as far as the settings goes but the bracket was a menace! These usually are though. This bracket isn't spring loaded, so it doesn't want to stay on my laptop lid. The bracket/screen are just too heavy for it to not have a spring loaded bracket. OR, if they would put a pull-out tab at the top like I've seen on others, that would help greatly. I am trying to use it with my laptop on a lap desk instead of a table or desk so that's probably not what the company designed it for. I think the kickstand would help hold it up just fine on a table or desk. I was able to arrange it on my lap desk to keep the kickstand propped against a groove on my lap desk but, it wasn't super easy. If it weren't for that, I'd definitely give it 5 stars. Also, if it came with 2 kickstands, one for the bracket and one for the monitor, that would help I think. Other than that, I think it's going to be great for my on-the-go job. It folds up very thin and is super easy to slip into my work bag with my laptop.

My eldest son actually came across this product and told me to check it out, as I work from home and have but so much space and really need multiple monitors. If I need to take the laptop to work outside of home a 2nd monitor is crucial for me! So I’m not confined. Lighter in weight vs my laptop and with a slim profile it won't be burdening to carry. This gives me the convenience and mobility I really need. Being able to power it through the USB C port of the laptop is very helpful without needing a socket, which aides in mobility function. It goes into power saving mode rather quickly when I am not using it. It Connected easily during set up and was detected (windows OS). The picture quality is pretty clear and I have no complaints with response times that seem pretty consistent compared to my regular monitors. I use an external speaker but the built in one I used once and it was moderate in volume but you can definitely hear the sound. The adjustment capability is no issue, as I have it in portrait mode to help me write my word narratives for my work. I use a stand because my work space is tight but this serves its whole purpose. Love it! Not one regret and I have used it for about 4 weeks and use it everyday. So far so good.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Let me be clear and say that I work in tech so I understand how to connect and set up laptops etc. I purchased this for personal use, followed the directions and no signal. Tried every cord provided NOTHING. Tried my work laptop thinking maybe my personal laptop might be a little too old, but no - same thing with that one. I was sent a replacement and the exact same thing happened. Called customer support only to be asked if I turned it off and back on again, and did I try the different cords. Save your money. Dont buy this.

This is an easy to use plug and play screen extender that works well on an older Apple MacBook Pro A1502. With other screen extenders you need a USB-C ports in order for the screen to power up and work correctly, however, this screen will power up with the USB-A port and receive video from the HDMI port. The quality of the build and display is excellent. The frame clamps on to the laptop securely with a sturdy third leg on the frame to support the extra weight from behind. The display is clean and crisp with great resolution and responsiveness as you move your cursor around. No lag or latency. Impressive sturdy packaging that you only expect to find on high end expensive items. Very stratified with the purchase and would highly recommend it

It looks ok (although not as good as my MacBook Pro screen, but that's to be expected). It connects fine and is very easy to set up. The issue is how it hold onto the laptop. It slides down and sometimes pops off. It's just way too loose. There is a kickstand, but it's way too short to reach the table. I initiated a return and ordered another one. Unfortunately, the second one is the exact same monitor. It has a different brand name, although it still starts with a K, but the monitor itself is the identical model. How disappointing. My quest continues. In my video, it looks like I have my monitors leaning way back, but that's just the angle of my phone.
