Skechers Women's On-The-go 600-Brilliancy Sport Sandal

I love these sandals! So comfortable - like walking on air, and a really cute style. Love the denim, and thinking of buying them in black. I haven't had them long enough to see how they withstand washing, but love that they are washable. The sizing is right - I sometimes take a 7 1/2 but the 7 is perfect. I highly recommend!

When I first received these shoes, I was convinced that I was going to have to send them right back. The fit was tight at the front strap, near the pinky toe area, just like a different pair of sandals I have owned and hated. I wondered how everyone else could rave about them so much, when they felt so uncomfortable to me. Then I remembered seeing another reviewer comment about breaking them in. So, I put them on and went about my household tasks for a few hours. Sure enough- after wearing them one afternoon, I no longer felt any tightness or discomfort. They seemed to adapt to my feet and they felt GREAT! Now I understand the appeal. Now I am excited about wearing them! I haven't truly put these to the test on my vacation yet, but I feel pretty good about what I have experienced so far. So good that I am ordering a second pair in a different color!

These are my go-to sandals. I love them so much that this is my 6th pair. I now have white, black, 2 blue, beige and red/white/blue (they sold this several years ago). These sandals really hold up. I've had my oldest pair for several years and it still is very wearable. The traction on the bottom got a bit worn after a couple of years, but they are still wearable. They still look good. My oldest pair has faded a bit but you probably wouldn't notice unless you put them side by side. They are so comfortable. I have problem feet and these have good arch support and the straps are very adjustable. The adjustability is because you can fit it to your foot. If your ankles sometimes swell and sometimes don't the adjustability really helps. The front part of the sandal is not adjustable but the sandal comes in medium and wide widths. The velcro holds well. The strap is longer for the wide than the medium. They are very comfortable to walk in and I can put them right on and wear them, no blisters. The traction is good. I haven't had any problem with slipping. The footbed is comfortable and not slippery even when wet. My foot never slides around in the sandal like I've had happen with other sandals. They are lightweight and pack well. I really do wear these all the time.

I got these sandals because I wanted a pair of the similar looking Skechers Go Walk Flex step-ins (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYVW2NB7) in tan but they weren't available. I have absolutely loved the shoe in the link (which I got in navy), and hoped the step-in feature was the only real difference. They're different sandals, though. The Go Walk Flex step-in has a bit more support--I wear them constantly and I never feel tired on long errands, and I'd feel confident wearing them for more intensive walking as I never feel rocks etc. through the soles. The soles on these On-The-Go sandals are softer, lighter, and visibly more flexible, perhaps too much so--I don't think they'd be up to extensive walking. They're... OK but I was hoping the sole design would be more siimilar. The sole is also not as wide as the same-size Go Walk Flex, and therefore doesn't fit as well--my foot looks too wide for this shoe from above. The soles were slippery out of the box. I think I will return them. They aren't bad but if I can find a pair that's more similar to the other model in tan, I'll return these. Like many brands, sizing doesn't seem to be as consistent for Skechers as one might hope for a mail order company. All that being said they are very comfortable and would be great for comfort and leisure so long as you don't need to do too much heavy walking in them, I'd guess. The uppers look as nice as the other shoes. They're nice, I was just expecting something different.

I wore these right out of the box without any problems. They molded perfectly to my foot filling in every curve and wrapping comfortably around the pressure points. It’s like walking on cushions. The straps hold the foot securely in place so there’s no toe clenching or flopping at the heel. They are as all Sketchers, well made. The sizing is accurate; I wear a 7 and the 7 footbed is perfect with zero hangover. I don’t care much for the style of the straps; I would have preferred a single wide band across the top of the foot but these will do for casual wear around the house.

Great for walking....wore them on vacation. Very comfortable. Love the look, sporty.

I ordered these in black last summer and wore them so much, I felt the need to replace them. They still have some wear, so I will still wear them when walking among dirt, sand or dust, as they look pretty dusty and worn, but are still very comfortable. The tread is a bit worn as well. I did have to cut the top strap on the black ones as it stuck out once the velcro ran out on the strap when tightening. I wanted new ones, but in a tan color which wasn't available in my size 8, as the black ones were. I took a chance and ordered the 7 Wide in tan as I have gotten away with 7 1/2 when it is offered, but never 7's. That strategy seemed to work! They look like they are borderline, but they don't look too small. My toes hit just short of the top edge. AND, I'm thinking I won't ever have to cut this strap to keep it from flapping around as that fits better across the top as well. I'm glad I tried this size out. I think I'm going to really like these!!! The only other factor that held me back from ordering right away was the price. It was considerably more pricey than last year, but I guess everything is. Besides I did have about $16 in rewards points so that lowered the price a little, making it a little easier to press that "order" button in check out. I'm going to wear them around the house, just to be sure they will work out as well as the last pair. I want to make sure that the straps going over the toes isn't going to end up being too tight, as they aren't adjustable. So far, not a problem, but I do feel them there more snug than with the bigger size.. I have very flat arches. These are the only sandals so far that seem to conform to my foot because the foot bed is springy (almost like memory foam) and give a little arch support without digging into my practically non existent arches. They look nice too. I'm sure I can get away with wearing them with all my summer dresses as long as they are as comfortable as my last pair. With the price being much higher, I won't just settle. I'll write an update if anything changes. I don't usually write a review the day I receive an item.

I really wish these sandals came in 1/2 sizes. I am a solid 6.5. Based on other reviews, I ordered the 6. I can wear it, but I wasn't sure, so I also ordered the 7 to compare. The 7 is definitely too big. I will make the 6.5 work even though they are a little short because they are comfortable, so we'll see how they do at Disneyworld.

I don’t usually write review but those sandals really saved my trip to Japan. My feet were swollen due to heat and endless walks, so it felt great to alternate shoes with them. Plus, they are super light and I brought them during my 14h flight to use as slippers (combined with toeless compression socks for this purpose - not stilish but killer combo if you have weak circulation in your legs ! ). I will definitely purchase another pair , the design is very sleek and good dupe of Teva sandals.
