Simple but Deep = Your new go-to
TacTile strikes a perfect balance of being both simple AND deep. It is easy to learn with only a handful of core mechanisms/decisions along with a great color and iconology design, making it easy to pick up for the first time. BUT simple doesn't mean basic or boring. The ever-changing board and the interplay of combos make this game incredibly strategic and different every time. Simplicity of checkers with the depth of chess!

Did not like at all. Not thematic is a very unbalanced game as the board can go very lopsided for players and it can feel very slow and take forever. 2/10

Great new engaging strategic game
I recently received TacTile through Kickstarter and I must say I am very pleased with it. The quality of the game pieces are excellent. TacTile has very simple rules but in combination with the cards you activate, bought via the colored resources you gain, makes it complex to figure out the best strategic move to take next. The randomized board layout and cards in the card market makes every game you play unique. TacTile is clearly in the strategic category of chess regarding complex strategy, but like checkers is very easy to learn. I do recommend viewing the videos on Friendly Bee Game Company's YouTube page to quickly learn how to play and associated strategy. While it can be played by 2 to 4 players, I really like the 4 player game with opposite corners working as partners. Since I invested in the game through kickstarter I also received a TacTile bag as shown to blindly shuffle the tiles when building the board during setup, in case you don't trust someone to create it randomly, as well as an extra 2P Expansion quick reference card to illustrate the latest expansion rule. Its well worth adding TacTile to your game night and you will likely find your friends asking to borrow your game to practice so they can beat you next time. Just tell them to get their own copy on Amazon!

Fantastic simple rules yet VERY strategic.
Got my copy through the kickstarter. This is a great game very easy to learn but an incredibly strategic game. The deck builder component of this game is truly a work of genius. Very well balanced. I have played probably 10 games in the last week and a half.
