Bought these for my husband for a cruise to Alaska. Ended up not needing them because the weather was beautiful. He did wear them even though it did not rain. He says that they are comfortable and wore them when we went on a hiking excursion. Note that we are home, he continues to wear them. They are great in wet weather as well.

I have worn these hiking shoes on city streets with some light snow. So far, I am very impressed. Feeling the shoes, themselves, they are noticeably sturdier than my normal shoes or sneakers. The traction is great for slippery situations. They also keep my feet warm and dry in temperatures in the 20s and on streets that are damp from snow. When I wear these shoes, I do not feel unstable, when I would in my normal shoes. As for size, they are slightly larger that a pair of slip-on shoes, but noticeable smaller and shorter than HUMTTO’s hiking boots. (See the attached picture. The shoes are standard and HUMTTO shoes are black. The boots are navy blue). They’re also very easy to clean in a shower or deep sink since they are waterproof. A few hours after running under water, the shoes are dry.
