This is a great unit. I recommend that if you’re in the market for an affordable a/c that you stop scrolling/searching right now. You’ve found the one you’re looking for! It’s super quiet. Very dependable. Nice and cold. Ours is over a year old. It’s actually our second one. The first one is pushing 3 years and works perfectly! It’s Wi-Fi compatible. You can control It from anywhere in the word with your phone. It works with Alexa. It has a sled cleaning option that works beautifully!! It has a self diagnostics option. I usually run it once a month to see if there’s a problem detected. So far everything works perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend this unit. We are cooling a large area (about 1,200 sq ft) with ours and it handles the job well. Our original one is in our kitchen because we do a lot of baking and it just helps to keep the kitchen cool. Although the kitchen doesn’t really get hot because our second unit keeps it as well as the living & dining rooms pretty cool as it is. Again, for the money, this is a WIN— a super great value. You won’t go wrong with this purchase.

Purchased before summer 2023. In my opinion, this has the most pleasing look, especially the front of unit. Very quiet and cool my 650 sq ft fast. Highly energy efficient vs similar btu. The painted to the filler foam board given with the same paint I used for walls for cohesive lock. Wifi and app enable. No regret so far. I also have a small unit (10000 btu) for my bedroom. Also works great. And their remotes can be used interchangeably. Their eco mode is a little warmer than its ser temp, meaning it waits a little longer to cool the room. The back of unit makes gong sound if there it is raining or got ac draining dropped from upstairs, but every ac has this issue. You might need cushion foam to put of top of back unit to absorb the sound, especially for the bedroom one.

Delivered with small amount of damage to the front cool coils. Small amount not diminishing the performance. Damage due to poor storage of power cable/Plug. As to installation, it well, considering that installation required none standard procedure. Operation is very good, had no problems getting it on WiFi and setting up operation via WiFi. Only one day of operation, but doing the job better then expected. It is extremely quiet and unobtrusive. Will update in the future. Unit I have is the 14k btu unit. Also just received the 6K Btu version and it is functioning as well as the bigger brother. Update: I also have the 6000 BTU unit now and all said about the 14K unit apply. One minor difference is that I hear some compressor noise but not objectively bad. More then it’s larger brother. Furnished pictures of self install first is 14K second is 6K outside view of both units same order.

I this in April 2024, 2 years later and it will no longer cool and it gives an error code of ch 38. Per a Google search this means it is low on freon. But it is a closed system thus there must be a leak. So our options are to hire a a/c repair person to come and recharge the freon or purchase a new a/c unit. And it is pointless to recharge the unit unless we find the leak. $540 and only lasted 2 summers is unacceptable. Last 2 Summers it worked great. Blew very cold and connected to wifi easily.

This AC is absolutely amazing, in terms of efficiency. Love the quiet feature, and gets the room cold very fast. 14000bcu Cools the entire apartment. However, my husband and I really struggled to install it. First and foremost, you have to gut the unit in order to put all the pieces together. The instructions weren’t that helpful. Wish the AC came fully set up. We ended up having to find some random guy on YouTube, to show us step by step installation instructions. Eventually we figured it out. This thing is super heavy. Would recommend 2 people to install. Overall, it was it was a pain to install, but the end result is fantastic. And now I know how to disassemble and re-assemble an AC.

This is by far the best investment to date I've made for my 33 foot "live-in" full-time travel trailer. Here in Arizona where 110-120F for long stretches and 90+ being our cool days this AC exceeded what I was hoping for. Typically what I've seen here with others adding a window AC is they still need to have the less than efficient rooftop AC running as well. So I expected the same especially when I ordered it just as the heatwave was coming. Even when it's 120F, no need for rooftop AC and I set it at 65 (low) during the day and 75 (low) at night. If I'm super hot coming from outside I'll momentarily give it a medium blast for 5 mins to cool down. At night like 2-3AM (still upper 90's outside) I find myself pointing the vents away cause it's a bit chilly and that's a good thing. I mounted it in a window that is 2 feet from where my favorite lounge chair is and it super quiet. Rooftop is half way across the trailer and I always have to turn up the volume when it's on. This thing is really efficient and a fraction to operate compared to the rooftop unit. Remote is nice but the app is awesome. Way more control in the app. I love that I can turn it on off by timer or if driving back home I want it freezing when I get there you can control it as long as you have wifi for the unit and cell signal for your phone. It's just a little bigger than expected but that's only cause I was using my neighbors AC for reference but turns out here is smaller than normal. I'll say this though, it does have some weight. At 65 years old, I've always been into active sports but I really burst out in a sweat just as it was entering the case it mounts in which I really liked. Pretty simple setup if you're a DYI. I was very surprised when looking at Amazon that it is well over $100 more now and it wasn't some special sale when I bought it July 17th so I'm glad I didn't wait. Overall I am 10/10 with this one. I'm usually a Samsung purchaser so this is my first LG appliance and I wouldn't switch it for anything. Will definitely purchase another if needed and recommend to anyone asking.

First, I want to say this is amazing. The phone app with every setting you would need to remote access and set up routines is life-changing for me. When my unit arrived, it did have damaged fins like a lot of have experienced, but it does not seem to affect the performance of the unit. It's able to drop 1 degree F in 15 minutes in my use case. It is expensive, but the quality, cooling, and app quality of life make it worth it. The Design is very slick from the inside of the house, but from the outside, this thing is a UNIT. huge. I am very happy with this purchase and will consider a second unit in another location.

the description clearly states it is a 220 volt, it is not. the radiator fins are bent already upon opening. the unit feels flimsy. very disappointed in this purchase. I would not allow friends or family to buy this unit. all that being said, once I re-wired the outlet and turned it on, it did blow cold and appears to be working
