I ordered the igen2200 peak watts and what I received says on the box 2000.... anybody else get that?

If it reads that it will handle 2000W  or 2200W, it may just be a miss print and that number is for the surge load to start something ..  The lower Watt number is what is available for near continuous use.   The closer you have a continuous electrical load close to the maximum rated load 1800W the more likely the breaker will trip due to over load(s).  Many variables involved including air temperature/ventilation, heat dissipation, the breaker is not likely to hold 18A's ( 2160W.) indefinably.  1800W divided by 120 volts= 15 amps, & not an exact number. My opinion is not exact information.

Question 2

Will the iGen2200 be adequate to supply power to an ordinary apartment with full-sized refrigerator, computer, lighting, but no AC?

We use ours to power two refrigerators and a freezer.  It will just barely do that.  We also run our 1200 watt microwave, but not at the same time a refrigerator or freezer is plugged in.  It can also run a coffee maker if it is the only thing on it.

We can run one refrigerator and also quite a bit of electronics at the same time, such as a television, two laptop computers a cable modem, router, and other small electronics.

this one and irozce 300w power station, which should I buy?

My next door neighbor has a few Westinghouse 2500w models, brand new.  The first time he ran it, the generator caught on fire with such heavy damage it's a miracle he didn't burn his house down. 
I saw this generator set up and in operation, as a retired aviation engineer, and my neighbor being a general contractor, both of us understand inverter generators, and how to operate them and maintain them.  He had appropriate 10 or 12 gauge extension cords grounded properly.

I have photos of it and 70% of it is charred, burned and melted.  It's burned out so bad its hardly recognizable. Amazingly, the gas tank firewall kept the fuel from catching fire. With the heavy damage to it, it's incredible.
Westinghouse wanted it back, so I removed all the fuel left in the tank, and I hope Westinghouse works out the defect that caused the major malfunction. I would think twice about buying this brand, but at least Westinghouse is being attentive and concerned.

Question 4

If I want to plugin my electronics like my fan and laptop, phones, etc, do I need to buy additional cabling? thanks

Hi! The great thing about inverter generators is that they are perfect for powering sensitive electronics like your laptop and cellphone so there is no need buy additional cabling for that purpose. There is two standard 120V 20A household outlets and two 5V USB ports. If you wish to connect more items than the number of receptacles allow, then we recommend buying an additional power strip to accommodate for that.
