It fully supported my neck with no strain at all, even on a 15-hour flight. I felt comfortable the entire time and actually slept well. The only downside is that it doesn’t work with some budget airline seat styles. Aside from that, it’s a great travel pillow and definitely worth it. Review: Smart Travel - This neck pillow is perfect for Travel. I was able to rest comfortably without my neck being hot or bobbing. The eye shield provided a great comfort and blocking of lights. My head remained in place while sleeping for 4hours. The chin strap made my concern for an open mouth upon falling asleep obsolete. The material is easy to clean. Small enough to pack in a carry-on bag. Easy to assemble and durable to handle being packed tightly under other articles.

The best I’ve found!
These!!! This is the only thing that has allowed me to actually get some sleep on long haul flights. Ya girl doesn’t have money to upgrade out of coach and trying to sleep can be basically impossible. I’ve tried normal neck pillows (how can anyone use these?? They push my head forward and down?), the neck pillows that wrap tight and Velcro together and the inflatable ones that go on the tray table that you lean forward on. This is far better than all of these. I’m 5’6” so the height works great for me. My husband is 6’2” and had a bit more of a struggle with this so if you’re on the taller side or the shorter side this may not be for you. I personally like having a bit of pressure applied to my forehead so found this quite comfortable. The eye cover doesn’t put pressure on your eyes and the chin strap held my mouth closed comfortably. Not the best picture courtesy of my husband.

Excellent travel pillow—taller person might want an extended size
Extremely supportive! We bought these for our honeymoon in Tokyo (leaving from Washington DC), and man I’m so glad we went with these. They do not let your head flop, reviews are right. The pressure from the eye cover is a factor to consider (seems necessary for the uprightness to work), but it didn’t bother me at all. My husband is 6’ 3” and would have benefited from an extended size that would be longer vertically as it attaches to the headrest. He said it was otherwise comfortable for him, too.

Helped With Head Stability During Air Naps
I got these for flights totaling 18 hours. I personally liked mine when I wanted to sleep. However, my husband wasnt fond - I think being different heights affected where the pillow part hits on the plane seat.

Excellent Travel Innovation
I'm not sure who designed airline seats, but I have never been able to sleep well on a flight. The headrest pushes so far forward there are only two options: - slouch and tilt my head back, then wake myself up and scare everyone around me with a loud snort/snore - do the head bob, waking up just before my forehead hits the back of the seat in front of me There is of course the third option of falling asleep on your neighbor's shoulder, but if you don't know your neighbor, it can make them uncomfortable. Enter the Sarisun Airplane Pillow. I was skeptical about this device, but we used it on a trip to Europe with excellent results. Simply attach it to your headrest and strap yourself in with the eye mask. If you really want to nerd out and you're not afraid of having a teenage orthodontia flashback, use the chin strap (though it's not really necessary). No bobbing, no snoring, just a little drooling which of course can be absorbed by the strap if you choose to use it. It also folds to a remarkably small size and has a pouch for storage. No more bulky neck pillow attached to your backpack that hits everyone in the head as you board the aircraft. Highly recommend for anyone no matter how often you fly.

Meh.. not worth it.
I purchased these for a long International flight to New Zealand. While they do hold your head upright and prevent bobbing forward, they do put a lot of strain on your neck. Unless you are reclined a decent amount, your neck will be sore from using them. Overall, it was better than nothing, but not by a lot.

Comfortable
Highly recommend. Most comfortable pillow I’ve used on an airplane, I actually fell asleep! Gives great neck support and was easy to use, good quality. Great value for the money, is now the only pillow I will bring when flying.

This pillow saved our snooze on a 16 hr flight. The importance is the design which helps keep you head from swinging rather than resting on your shoulders. It attaches to any regual airline seat headrest. Packing it back it super easy and everything fits into the supplied bag.

Works so well. Very comfortable, slept for a whole 10hours using it on the plane.

Absolute best invention for air travel pillow on the market bar none. It braces your head to the chair in a super comfortable way. Completely stops all neck bend and supports your head perfectly no matter how big, small, or heavy. First time I actually fell asleep on an airplane in 30 years. Tried every other pillow on the market spending upwards of $80 each. All of them were too flimsy or too low or too soft to work. This invention is brilliant!

I love love these!! Family of four adults all used these traveling on 14 hour flight and we're able to sleep soundly without head bobbing and sore necks! The only thing that went wrong was I lost one of the eye cover as they are Velcro on both sides and it must have got lost on the plane. Works for all heights, we range 5'3 to 6'4

These worked great, I used them on an 8hr round trip and kept my heat up while I slept and saved me the neck pain. The straps were a bit too wide for the headrest pillow of the plane but we managed.
