This straightener is super easy to use! It beats up quickly and does a stellar job! It takes about 15 min to straighten my hair (past my shoulders, graying, with lots of short pieces that need to be tamed so it isn’t fluffy). It leaves my hair silky and smooth like it used to be! I tried another straightener but it left my hair staticky and fluffy. This inexpensive straightener is hands down the best. I have accidentally turned it off because of where the button is so you do have to watch out for that. But that’s a bearable flaw. It doesn’t snag my hair and even gives it a curl at the end if I angle it when I do the final pull through. Make sure you dry your hair before straightening. This should not be used on wet hair. Can not recommend highly enough! I only wish it was dual voltage so I could take it to Europe!!

So this was my 2nd purchase back on September 2021, because of the reviews about it working on kinky hair. I just used it for the last time as it’s no longer getting hot enough for my hair. It did the job but my hair is not as flat as I like it. I will buy it again. I’ve added a photo of my daughter’s hair.

It works excellent on my natural curly hair and it takes me nearly half the time to flat iron it.

Love this! Great product for the price. I've used higher end flat irons for 15+ years ( I've had 2 of the same high end flat iron over that time frame) and after my last one went out on me and the plates were starting to crack, I needed a quick cheaper purchase. I like how the plates have a rounded edge, so my hair doesn't get caught in the sides of it and heats up instantly as well! No need to buy the pricier one. I will say that the quality of it does feel cheaper in the hand- it's not as bougie obviously. But I overlook that because of how well it works.

I'm really impressed with this flat iron. It heats up quickly, glides smoothly, and leaves my hair straight without damaging it. The extra-long plates make styling easier, especially if you have thick or long hair. It feels sturdy, looks elegant, and delivers professional results at home. It's definitely worth it! I absolutely love it.

UPDATED 2/14/21: I originally gave this flat iron a 5 star review, but I have to deduct 2 stars because it has the same issue that others have talked about in their reviews: it constantly turns off! At first, I thought I was accidentally turning it off myself, but no, it's just turning off on its own. Sometimes I don't realize it has turned off until I've done a few swipes and then I have to redo it. I have to keep a constant eye on the power to make sure it's on. That's just not okay. I still like the flat iron, but I do find this to be super annoying. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been unhappy with my straightener for a long time, but I couldn't find one that I thought was worth trying, especially since I tried an expensive CHI that was so terrible that I sent it back. I've been using an HSI for the past several years, but when I had to replace my original one, the replacement was just mediocre. I lived with it for a couple of years figuring that maybe all flat irons just suck. I am someone who likes for my hair to last for a couple of days, but I have fine hair that gets a horrible curl in the back that is impossible to straighten back out on the second day. Or so I thought... I bought this straightener on the recommendation of a colleague who has shiny super straight hair every day. I figured that with the price, it was certainly worth a shot. I'm so glad I gave it a try! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it is by far the best straightener I've ever had. I am able to straighten my hair in ONE PASS through the hair, which really cuts down on straightening time. This made me realize that it had been taking me several passes through my hair to get mediocre results with my HSI. Not only that, but it has a longer iron, so I am able to straighten bigger sections of hair at once. It also does not pull my hair like the Chi did; it just glides right over it. It straightens my hair so well that I also feel like the humidity doesn't bother it as much as it used to, and the best part is that on the second day, MY HAIR IS STILL STRAIGHT--no horrible curl in sight! One quick pass through to smooth it, and my hair is good to go for another day! One more feature I like is the adjustable heat setting. Since I have fine hair, I don't need the heat up all the way, which was something I couldn't adjust with the Chi. For reference, I have been using it set on a 15 (out of 30). The only thing I can't speak to is the longevity of this iron since I just bought it a few weeks ago. I'm hoping it lasts a long time. However, if you are waffling on whether or not to buy this iron, just do it! You won't be sorry!

I had this straightener for 10+ years. It’s my ol’ reliable. It has outlived 2 other straighteners. I am not going to lie, I have abused this straightener. Many, many, manyyyy times water damaged and left too close to the sink, Or dropped (throughout years). Still, it has been loyal and working through ALL my graduations, degrees, and my wedding. It FINALLY broke last week. and I searched for the exact same straightener through Amazon. If this version is the exact, I mean the EXACT same replica as the 10+ year old version, it’s worth infinity stars. R.I.P. my ol’ reliable. Thanks for helping me not looking like a hot mess during the most mundane and most important days. <3

Nice and light but feels sturdy. Good temperature control and still manages my thick hair as well as a more expensive one. Why spend more? This one is very good

Dure como 4 años con esta plancha vengo haciendo mi reseña calienta y plancha super bien yo tengo cabello ondulado a media espalda si lo deja bonito calienta hasta 450° ya dure 4 años con ella y nunca me falló calienta en segundos bien rápido pero ya me encargue otra de placas de titanium que tenía ganas pero es una muy buena plancha que la recomiendo ampliamente en este tiempo que me acompaño

I'm really disappointed about what I received. It does not even do the same functionalities as the one shown in the images. In addition to that It looks like it is an open box product or used item!!! I do not recommend it at all.

Yo compre ambas planchas la delgada y la normal y las dos funcionan super bien, las recomiendo mucho, además dejan tu cabello brilloso y lo.planchan a la primera pasada, tienen para regular la temperatura y tiene un efecto que me encantó si por algo se te olvida encendida después de un rato se apaga para evitar accidentes.

This is so lightweight and makes my hair shiny. Love it.
