Tube In A Box, The Original Snow Tube (36 Inch)

Very heavy duty tire and seems to be made to last. If you're an adult, you might want to get a larger size b/c the 36" tire is way too small for an adult to sit in. There's also a rubber cover that goes over the stem which is real nice in keeping you from getting scratched up. Delivery was prompt.

We have a Slippery-Racer XL tube cover (nylon top with a hard plastic bottom) and the tube that came with it last year was dried up Chinese junk and got holes in it after 2 month. As you can see in the photo, the outside diameter of the tube cover is 36", and the deflated tube that originally came with it measured the same (outside diameter). This tube arrived today and measured about 30 inches fully inflated, so it's loose inside the cover. The tube if VERY firm, so I don't want to continue to inflate, fearing it will pop. If you have a similar cover, order the next size up, which I am about to do.One positive note, the tube itself seems to be of nice quality and the rubber is supple. I also like the cover that goes over the stem to prevent injury or damage to the stem.

I usually end up buying all the Christmas presents myself. My husband is too busy. I bought this particular item, because it could be used on snow and in the pool. They Live in LA. My Cousin-in-Law went nuts when they opened it, because without know it, the tube was the same as the ones she and my husband had growing up.

I brought this to sled down our driveway, but found that the cheap plastic sleds from Target were better for our purpose, I don't fault this product which is nicely made, just that the plastic sled worked better for us. I kept it because it will also see time in the lake this summer.

We bought 3 of these in various sizes. We tried them twice and had little success getting them to slide. Had to use feet & hands to push ourselves down the hill. To be fair, it does say that more use makes it more slippery. But we had surprisingly little snow in New England this winter, so didn't have many opportunities to use them. If I were to go again, I might try lubricating the bottom. Cooking spray, maybe? Also, one tube filled with air unevenly. One side is thicker than the other. Not sure how that happened.... They do seem to be much stronger than a traditional cheap plastic inner tube, but I'm not sure I would have spent the money in hindsight.

We ordered this to swim in a lake while camping. Just what we were looking for. Felt sturdy. Stem didn’t jab into our bodies because they have a nice stem cap. Just what we were looking for.Deflation took a bit as I held valve open with my finger, maybe there is an easier way but that’s not their fault.

Use it for playing in the poo or ocean. I will also use it in the snow. I like the samll valve stem, grat idea!

I am using these tubes for snow and river. They are very durable. They are much better than the truck tubes that I would normally use!

Definitely not 36" diameter...more like 32". Returned in favour of a larger tube.

Does not slide well at all. Tried putting different products such as PAM but just doesnt slide. Dissapointed.
