Afina Chrome High Pressure Revitalizing Shower Filter - Filter Out Chlorine

I had installed this a short while ago, but since then, my eyes don't burn from the water like before from the chemicals and minerals in the water system. And even after showering, my hair is markedly softer, and feels cleaner than before. This is really easy to install, and has a wrench included! Well thought out design, and easy to maintain, to change the filter. Great water flow, no slowdown at all. We are pleased with this unit a lot.

Easy to install and the product fells/looks to be well constructed. It has been three weeks and my girlfriend has noticed a difference in her hair and skin. I don’t tell her I was installing it and she mentioned how her hair color lasted longer this time. I also have noticed my skin is not as dry. Can’t comment on how long the filter is actually last cause it’s only been three weeks. This may depend on the quality of your water. There has been no drop in water pressure yet. Luckily there are options for filters and you get a coupon when you buy the filter for a discount on a subscription. Good choice for a water filer.

Cheap junk, made of plastic. Arrived not fully put together, could see the locktite on the threads of the piece not attached. Unit fell apart while installing. Scan the link for video instruction and it goes to their store to buy stuff. Their support page link on Amazon doesn’t work. If I saw this in a store I would never buy it. Now I’m rethinking the whole shower filtration idea. Seems like a scam after seeing this overpriced plastic thing. Oh, and apparently it makes no difference which way the filter goes in. There’s no flow direction. That makes no sense unless the filter is also a cheaply made hunka junka

Who here has eczema AND is sensitive to chlorine? Me too! That’s exactly why I bought this, and it actually made a noticeable difference for me. Installation was super easy, it fit my shower with no issues, and I didn’t notice any annoying loss in water pressure or flow. It also feels solid and well-made, not like some dinky little plastic filter from Lowe’s lol. Now people, READ THIS: this isn’t magically going to remove 100% of everything from your water. You’d need a much more expensive whole-home filtration system for that. But for what this is designed to do, it does it WELL. My skin feels noticeably less dry and irritated after showering, and I’m glad I spent the extra money and went with Afina.

Great filter. It’s strong, makes the pressure much better when on my shower head, and it cleans the water. I could tell a difference in it from before and after getting it. It does loosen up a little (not sure how), which causes a tiny leak. I just tighter it back up and it goes away. Also it does come with its own tool to install which is a plus.

such a good shower head!!! it came with everything to install it and the directions were so clear! i have had this product for 2 weeks and i swear i can already feel a difference. its insane! 10/10 love this product and would reccomend it to everyone!!
