Aahhh! Loved it 🫠

I bought this GEFORCE RTX4090 (Verto - PNY) knowing that it was used. I did save some money versus buying a brand new one; I just could not get myself to spend the money for a new unit. The vendor sent the unit in its original packaging within a box. The product was sent by FedEx and arrived safely. All necessary cables were provided. Manuals were also included. I attached the RTX4090 to a DEG1 eGPU dock from Minisforum. I also connected a 1kW ASUS TUF power supply to the dock. The RTX4090 came to life without any issues.; so far so good. FYI, I don't consider myself a computer expert. I do enjoy running simulations and developing LLM for various scientific applications. I ran quite a few tests on the card. Here is a summary from some of the results: I ran FurMark, 3DMark (the free version) and GPU-Z and all gave very good results. I did have to adjust power setting to get to full bandwidth. The three fans on the RTX4090 came on during the tests. The 3DMark test produced graphics quality that was truly phenomenal. I put together a PowerShell script that uses CUDA's deviceQuery. The test confirmed that the RTX4090 is fully operational. A matrix multiplication script produced a great scaling curve. The RTX4090 was flexing exactly as it should. The jump from a size of 4096 to a size of 8192 showed near-linear acceleration, which means the Oculink and memory bandwidth were humming in sync. I got close to 12,000 GFLOPS for the 8192 size matrices. So, I am happy with the purchase and the vendor who offered it.

Excellent produit. Pas de coil whine. Je l'ai undervolt au point où il consomme max 320 Watts (au départ 520 Watts), chauffe très peu du coup, très silencieux. Mais chaque carte à un undervolt différent, c'est la lotterie.

Todo correcto, la he comprado hace mucho tiempo y aun no me ha dado ningún problema con los conectores. El rendimiento pues el esperado de este modelo, actualmente lo uso para LLMs
