How do you get Renal K+ out of your pets fur? It's like glue!

I use a warm wet tissue on my cat to get the gel out of his long fur. Also, ever since I started to use an oral syringe to place the gel towards the back of his throat, I don’t get the gel in his fur. He takes 2.5ml, so it takes 6-7 times to get him to swallow it all. I give him just enough each time to swallow the gel.

Is there a foil seal under the cap?

Yes there is a foil seal to ensure it hasn't been opened or tampered with. My cat takes this supplement for her (HCM) heart disease. She has taken 1/2 tsp once daily now for 4 years. Her last visit to the cardiologist was very good. I feel I'm doing all I can to help her live a longer happier life. She'll be 18 in August.

Why is there artificial sweetener sucralose in this? Both formulas have very nasty ingredients.

I believe they use the artificial sweetener since many times pets may have kidney issues as well as diabetes. This way it works for all animals that may need potassium supplements.

How many calories are in 1/2 tsp of the gel?

It’s negligible, nothing in the formula has a anything measurable as a calorie.

Saved My Cat’s Life!

Brought my senior cat back from the kidney failure abyss. What a great product! She’s back to her old self again. I wish it was locally available. Keep some on hand if you have a senior cat.
