Great coffee at a great price
This is a well rounded mild coffee that gives all the flavour you need from a fresh ground coffee. I consider this a good all rounder and great if you like a long black coffee I use these in my Jura bean to cup and they are not as greasy as other beans and leaves the machine easier to clean. Great coffee at a great price.

Anonymous coffee beans are good value
My favourite moment in the Airplane movies is scene where the flight announcer informs that passengers that there has been an engine failure and the captain is incapacitated and the passengers do not blink and eye until the further announcement that the plane is OUT OF COFFEE sparking complete panic. There are analogies here with my recent predicament. As most people (April 2020) I have been spending more time at home than I thought humanly possible and, opening the cupboard discovered that we were OUT OF COFFEE. I was soon trying to work out how to recycle the dregs from my cafetiere to see if I could eek out another cup or two. I also checked the on line subscription I have to one of those fancy coffee companies that send you a packet of beans every couple of weeks from an artisan grower in Colombia or Guatemala along with a picture of the farmer and his family and "tasting notes" as to what flavours to look out for (they mostly taste of coffee to me but I like the idea of supporting this sort of thing). Worryingly it was still another ten days before my next delivery of Colombian finest and, having already had my trip to the supermarket for the week and not wanting to be tutted at by the fellow shoppers for just popping in for some coffee, I looked on Amazon and found this. Unbelievably it is around the same price for 2 x 500g bags of beans as I pay for my usual fancy stuff for 1 x 250g bag. This was slightly disconcerting too as I worried that when I ground my beans it would not give me the level of satisfaction I have been used to. The package arrived promptly enough and the coffee beans themselves look medium roast and actually make a pretty good cup of coffee. What you do not get with this, though, is any of the provenance (as they say on Antiques Roadshow) as to the heritage of the grower and where he / she lives and how many years he / she has been growing coffee etc which distracts slightly but at a quarter of the price I am not grumbling too much.

Excellent value Columbian Coffee Beans with good Columbian flavour
I'm a regular coffee drinker and treat coffee a little like wine. I like to try many types. Over the years I have developed a preference for Columbian coffee due to the fruity notes, preferring them to overwhelmingly chocolate notes you get from most other countries. This Happy Belly Columbian surprised me! At £8-odd, I thought it worth a try but didn't expect much. I thought I'd just treat it as one of the tasting experiments. However, the flavour is excellent. It is a little fruity, but not acidic. There's zero bitterness. I like a medium roast, and these beans are uniformly roasted to a nice mid-brown. I use a Delonghi bean-to-cup machine, and have the grind set quite fine, and the temperature set to 'hot'. I must admit this will probably become my regular coffee, used between tastings of others. I'm about to try a Columbian at three times the price so it will be an interesting comparison. Bottom line - if you want a coffee that is distinctly Columbian, with a nice fruitiness and no bitterness, this is well worth a try, especially at this price. Much better than any of the major brands sold in supermarkets I'd say, though the low-price one beginning with 'L' also has a great Columbian for the money. If I think it worthwhile I'll update this after trying the expensive Columbian that comes next.

It's ok in overall
I don't know why but packaging made me think this is a ground coffee grind for espresso machine. But actually they are beans as stated in the title. So I made my best to grind them using blender blades, taste was ok, a bit too bitter maybe. Good for the price, but not the best coffee.

Great value
I've used this for years. Don't let the price deceive you, It's excellent. I use a pod machine now that all the family are grown and left for uni or different lives. So I don't use it now. I wish they'd make compatible Nespresso pods, at a similar value price point.

Wakes Me Up and Puts Me to Bed
It's coffee beans and there isn't much more to say than that. However, after buying a bean-to-cup machine, I wanted to try something new. I was very surprised at the quality of these beans and the flavour. I like a really strong coffee (5), which this isn't (3). However, I actually really like the taste of these beans and they don't leave a residue in the machine like some can. I would buy these again.

Reasonably good coffee
Not the best beans I have ever had, but they produced a reasonably good cup of coffee for the price. Not particularly strong in flavour, but the aroma was there. I used mine in a bean to cup and had no issues. Perhaps not a coffee I would purchase too often, but it wasn't dissapointed and I would say it is worth a punt if you are thinking of it.

Kickstart your day
Great to kickstart your day with. Bitter and strong. Not too acidic and fantastic value for money. Depending on how fine and strong you like your coffee and if you like sedament, having a coffee is like a fine wine tasting. For me this hits the spot and a lovely smell to wake up to Just need to find a decaf version now for the afternoons
