Can this be used to clean grill interior grease buildup, or is there another recommendation from Zep?

This would work, but ZEP also has a very effective degreaser product. Probably depends how baked on your grease buildup is.

Will this clean stovetop gas grates?

It is not advisable to apply to the stove grates. However, it may be used to dissolve and remove baked on grease and carbon from burner drip pans.

Is this safe on cast iron ?

Not sure but I would never use this on cast iron. Too strong a product.

Highly recommend it!

I own a cleaning company and use many of Zep’s product including this one because I found that these are the best giving me consistently performance every time.
