Drive Medical Handy Grabber Reaching Aid, 28 Inch, Silver, Aid

I bought this to reach ask the crap that falls behind my washer and dryer as well as my dresser. But frankly it has come in handy several times. Pretty well constructed too. I mean you're not going to be lifting anything heavier than 5lbs for sure. But it's worked out very well. Would recommend for sure.

I bought this twice and both times it broke at the same spot. Used it gently, didn’t drop it or anything. The first time I thought it was a fluke. The second time, I realize it’s a design flaw.

Broke my Femur, so this is so helpful getting dressed and picking up dropped items. I love it!

I thought it would last longer but after 6 months it fell apart. The grabber part is plastic and it just snapped on half. Don't waste your money. The one I bought in the 99 cent store was better

I have one for cleaning so I don't hurt my back picking stuff up before vacumming and also trash outside. I bought my elderly mom too for picking things she dropped. I like the silicone grip at the end. Good for picking up clothes. I find canned food too heavy. It would be good to have a lock so that I can dont have to keep squeezing the handle to retain items. It would also be good if it were another 3 inches longer.

Purchased for my Aunt and she loves it. It is very handy to her.

I bought this reacher based on an YT review by an OT. It lasted 3 months when the small plastic part of the handle activator broke. I contacted the company, they replaced it without question. The replacement broke in 3 months even though in my healing I used the reacher less because I could do more. It broke in exactly the same spot in just about 3 months time. Overall it is well made, I am surprised that the company skimped on the most used part of the reacher making it vulnerable to breakage. So that you understand I am not rough on items, I'm 76.
