The pieces are prototyped and tested on our own whippet dog Kai and other helpful dogs from our neighbourhood. We test for many things: most importantly that the pieces are safe and comfortable for the dog, and also that they are easy to wash and care for. We produce small quantities so that some stock is available when you order, whilst being mindful of not leaving any waste. Dogsnug is rather 'zero-waste' in that all the pieces are cut to waste as little material as possible. However, there is always a few bits of fabric left over from the cutting, and these are used as fillings for some of our other products such as our dog toys.
